New Killer: The Animatronic

When you prestige, you will earn different animatronic outfits such as:

Prestige I: Nightmare Freddy & bloody outfit for Springtrap

Prestige II: Nightmare Bonnie & bloody outfit for Nightmare Freddy

Prestige III: Nightmare Chica & bloody outfit for Nightmare Bonnie

Prestige III (Level 50): Nightmare Foxy, with a bloody outfit for himself, and bloody outfit for Nightmare Chica.

Basic Stats:

Movement Speed: 110%

Alternate Movement Speed: 150%

Terror Radius: 32 Meters

Height: Tall

Power: Electronic Curse

The animatronic will start the Trial visible to all survivors with their base movement speed and interact options.

There are 5 Office Desks scattered around the Trial for The Animatronic to use and unlock lethal ambush capabilities.

Special Ability: Monitor Vanish

Once The Animatronic interacts with an Office Desk, they enter an ethereal plane for either 30 seconds, until they use their secondary ability, or until they cancel Monitor Vanish. While The Animatronic is in the ethereal plane, they will lose the ability to attack, interact with objects around the map, and see survivors further than 8 meters to them. However, their movement speed is significantly increased, they lose collision, and they cannot be seen by survivors, as well as becoming Undetectable.

The Animatronic's current Terror Radius is transferred to the Office Desk they previously used.

If they do not use their secondary ability before their timer runs out or decide to cancel Monitor Vanish, they will reappear at the Office Desk they previously used and exit the ethereal plane.

Special Ability: Electronic Ambush

While they are in the ethereal plane, The Animatronic can use Electronic Ambush to exit the ethereal plane at any place that's not within the survivor's sight.

They will keep the Undetectable status effect for a short duration after exiting the ethereal plane.

Questions & Misconceptions:

Can you sabotage an Office Desk?

Answer: No, you cannot sabotage an Office Desk and prevent The Animatronic from using it.

Will The Animatronic have the ability to spawn directly behind you the moment you look away? Wouldn't this mechanic cause abuse?

Answer: No, The Animatronic can not spawn within line of sight to the survivor's body. This system would be really strict to make sure nothing feels unjust, and to clarify, they have to stand completely still to use their secondary ability while in Monitor Vanish.

Can the survivors interact with the Office Desk at all?

Answer: No, it's just there for The Animatronic to use Monitor Vanish, unless they use a specific add-on. The add-on is called Withered Animatronic Plushie, scroll down to see how it changes the Office Desks' interaction for survivors.

Add-ons: Electronic Curse

They can modify the power by doing following:

• Increasing ethereal plane time by 5 (Common)/10 (Uncommon)/15 (Rare)/20 (Very Rare) seconds.
• Increasing the Undetectable duration by 2 (Common)/4 (Rare)/6 (Very Rare) seconds.
• Increasing their movement speed while in the ethereal plane by 10% (Common)/20% (Uncommon)/30% (Rare).
• Increase the amount of Office Desks by 1 (Uncommon)/2 (Rare).
• Decrease the amount of Office Desks by 1 (Uncommon)/2 (Rare) while granting a 25% (Uncommon)/50% (Rare) post-trial Bloodpoint bonus.

Odd Wire (Common Add-on):

• Replaces Electronic Ambush with Digital Conscious Transfer.
• Aim at the survivor you want to use this ability on while in the ethereal plane. You cannot use this ability if you're in line of sight to the survivor.
• Upon activation, The Animatronic will get stunned out of the ethereal plane and the survivor will take the view of the killer while maintaining control of themselves. That survivor will reveal their aura to themselves.
• This effect ends after 60 seconds or until The Animatronic cancels their ability.

Worn Freddy Mask (Very Rare Add-on):

• Any survivor within your Terror Radius while you're in the ethereal plane will scream and suffer from the Exposed status effect for 45 seconds.

Withered Animatronic Plushie (Very Rare Add-on):

• Lose the ability to see the auras of all Office Desks.
• Survivors gain the ability to see the auras of all Office Desks, and as well as interact with them.
• Every survivor will gain a personal 2% penalty in repair, healing, cleanse, searching, sabotaging, and opening speeds every 10 seconds.
• Survivors can remove the current debuffs by interacting with an Office Desk.

Purple Hat (Ultra Rare Add-on):

• While in the ethereal plane, you gain the ability to see all survivors, and injured survivors will reveal their aura to you.
• Entering the ethereal plane causes all injured survivors to become exhausted for 30 seconds.

Fazbear News of 1987 (Ultra Rare Add-on):

• Removes 2 Office Desks.
• Any survivor within 16 meters to an Office Desk will reveal their aura to you.

The Animatronic Teachables:

From The Shadows:

You are devious stalker and know how to hunt your prey.

Hooking a survivor grants the Undetectable status effect for 20/25/30 seconds.

While under the effects of From The Shadows, damaging generators, breaking pallets, searching lockers, and vaulting are audibly silenced.

Lights Out:

Become Obsessed with a survivor.

Your Obsession will have 120 seconds to cleanse a totem, or otherwise become Exposed until they do so.

Once a totem is cleansed, you will become Obsessed with a different survivor and the timer will reset.

If all totems are cleansed, the current Obsession will be shrouded in darkness and will not be able to see anything further than 32/28/24 meters around them.

Hex (Electronic Choas):

You have a Hex tied to dark magic.

When a generator is completed, all other generators will explode and regress by 50% of their current progression.

Any survivor interrupted by the explosion will reveal their auras to you and become Exposed for 40/50/60 seconds.

The Hex's effects will persist as long as the related Hex totem is standing.
