Nerf Ruin yet still no Nerf gen rushing after all the "Gen Rush" threads

Can't wait most killer main stop bother playing this game and you can't play both Killer(For frustrate gen rush) and Survivor(No Killer = No lobby)

Isn't we use Ruin because the gens finish way too quick?

I've playing Farmer Doctor with 4 bloodpoint bonus perks(BBQ, Distressing, Beast Prey, Hex:thrill) since blood hunt event and i can already tell most of match the gens finish 2~3 after 1 hook and there's no way you can counter this

    This is bad change, I can't believe bhvr has completely stopped caring about killer side.

    But how do you apply pressure something killer Like Clown or Trapper doing chase and you're in huge map?

    They should either update the Map Size or Give more objectives to survivors that give more bloodpoints before Ruin nerf

    P.S. Not to mention Hex totem spawn are still bad

    This long-standing idea that "killers have to apply gen pressure" is comically non-nonsensical. How exactly are killers supposed to be in 4 places at once "applying pressure"? With the exception of the high mobility killers, what exactly can be done to get multiple survivors off gens? You physically cannot chase 2 survivors at the same time (unless they follow each other, obviously).

    They only thought that it is used 80% of the time and nothing more. if at least they increase the time to make gens ... So basically "LIVE THE GENS RUSH"

    And how many red rank survs literally laugh at ruin and power right through it? This player base won't be happy until the killer is completely defenseless, and every one says screw this and goes to survivor and the game dies.

    You are basically advocating for a game long "3 gen" strat. Yes, obviously, at higher levels of play, you have to recognize when a chase is no longer worth it, but you don't gain anything by approaching a gen and the survivors scattering. If anything you've created a stalemate (no gen progress, but now you are a chase). The only way for killer to progress is to actually hit someone, hook them, and kill them.

    Once the ruin nerf is going live, i can already tell more killer will use Mori, OP Pink Addon, More NOED, Camp/Tunnel or something very more toxic. And solo survivors(Including me) are literally unplayable and making both side are frustrate to play it

    This is over Old Legion/Old MoM over again

    It wasnt that it was overperforming, its that at high ranks its needed because otherwise the gens get slammed. Killer can check 2 gens and chase someone for 30 seconds and suddenly 3 gens pop. I dont use Ruin much but also i am low rank killer but when high rank ppl show up i get trashed because gens take no skill to do and are the main objective for survivor. Killers still have to chase apply pressure regress gens, guard the gen thats being regressed so it ACTUALLY REGRESSES. I could totally be wrong but im thinking we are gonna see killers guarding gens much more to keep them going down as survivors now have no penalty to just hop to a different gen and do that one instead.

    I understand your point, and I agree genrushing is the objective, i cannot complain, but the reason ruin was present in so many matches is because the gen times are so short. And they can get done very quickly. Nerfing the one perk that can keep your game alive is a bad idea.

    Thats quite logical - If some skill is good, it will be played. Especialy on higher ranks. And "disable" that skill ONLY because it's played is just a bad step. It's same with Mercy in OW - they crippled her just because she was in every team / every game. But she was there, because she was important & fun to play. So they hardly crippled her, to give some playability to other "worst" characters. I mean when this ends? When all characters will be crippled on wheelchair with same power?

    I played few games as killer after Hex: Ruin nerf and i must say it's really frustrating now. Playing "tag" with survivor around some huge object just to get blocked by pallet after while is really not annoying!!! Every turn around some object cost time wich is now (without Ruins) more essential, than ever. And because of that is here a big problem - as someone said here - "when 1st survivor is down (after bullied killer enough), 2-3 generators are completed. Wich makes no sense to play killer, and because of that - like another person said "No killers = no games / longer waiting times".

    So i rly hope, that devs will realise this problem soon enough and will do something with that, or this game slowly dies.
