I feel like I'm in a brutal food fight hiding under a cafeteria table while everyone tosses flaming food at each other. Anyone else under the table with me? I have pretzels 💜

I'm watching from the sidelines. I don't agree with the changes but it isn't the hill i plan to die on. I maybe wrong but this seems worse than when the exhaustion nerf came. I saw some personal attacks against Peanits and Alma that seemed a bit much.

Nah, because as a survivor main even i say this is too much.
It's really going to bring about a bad end game meta or killers will just leave. Which will kill the player base.
People need to stop focusing on what's good for them and instead good for the game. Because if one side has it too easy the other will leave.
There was a tank game I used to play. It was very popular but eventually everyone complained the sides were the same. So they gave each side special items, tanks,etc.. This led to everyone joining ussr because they stomped the nazis due to their air strike upgrade. Then all the nazis left and the game died because now the ussr had no one to play. Finally they decided to get rid of that and then the ussr players quit because they lost their power and the damage was done.
However, it was great getting the air strike upgrade and watching the ussr cry because they finally had a taste of what we had for months.

Yeah it is pretty ugly on here. I have been negative towards BHVR for recent changes but i don't single any of them out. Alma may have said some things to piss people off but i appreciate the transparency.

I think there is some valid criticism of the changes, how they were presented, and how the devs and community managers are responding. But people should keep it civil and relevant, and not attack individuals for something that isn't related to the game

I mean, I disagree with the Ruin changes but no way I'm gonna bother actually discussing it at the moment.
It's pretty funny to see total megaminds ""subtly"" encouraging review bombing get banned though.

There's a lot of hypocrisy in the argument threads. One side always says get good, at the other side. Literally from both sides.

From what I've seen, a lot of the "aggressive attacking" has been directed toward the devs.
Which is no surprise when you consider what they did.

Which is a problem in my opinion. There's a way to speak to and address people, and the ways that I see are not okay. But my opinion is just my opinion which is why me and my fellow brethren are in this safe little thread taking cover and eating pretzels.

This makes me think of dodgeball, and the balls are the not-constructive comments.
And then there's that one kid who dodges every ball with flashy moves, catches one, throws it back, turning the comment into a "no u", and hitting them.

The problem is the devs don't listen when it comes to core issues with the game. We've been telling them their game is a mess for ages now.
I repeat: They just don't listen.
At some point, you begin to think there is something seriously wrong, which is why people have lost all patience.

Its just a nerf, and we are still on the PTB, the whining is outrageous, i dont remember people being this mad at a perk change ever.

I couldn't agree with you more, literally the very first day of the PTB I saw NOTHING but posts complaining about this or that. Everyone has a right to their opinion, of course but it's your attitude about it that really defines your character.

The comment I saw is currently deleted as well as the user being banned and the thread was shutdown. I saw it last night, was a thread about matchmaking being a problem but instead they choose to nerf Ruin. Lets just say the attacker spewed degrading insults at Peanits. Honestly, just go to his profile and click on his comments where he's posted in different topics. I'm pretty sure theres a couple and if not, then the comments have been removed. I'm pretty sure people have been flagging the outright rude comments as well as I.

I think you and I have a different definition of attacking.
Saying that the devs are biased and incompetent are fair criticisms in my opinion.
However, if we were attacking them personally with nasty insults and making serious threats, then yeah I agree that's unacceptable.
But for the most part, most of us are attacking how the devs are managing this game.

Oh no, I'm talking about degrading comments, unnecessary personal insults, disrespectful remarks. For the most part, the ones who've been doing it I see have jail bars and I'm sure majority of them are actually banned as I saw one comment last night from a banned member.
