You don't have to leave the game after Ruin and Doc nerfs

Just don't spend money on the game, that's all. You can both keep playing AND applying pressure on devs.

I think we will see backlash in the form of an extreme amount of matches with Moris, Slugging, and Ultra Addons. Others will respond with tunneling and camping. While another set of killers not playing as much.

I definitely wont spend any more money on this game if the huge doc nerfs aren't reverted but I'm hoping the devs will see their mistakes and remove the nerfs

I'm willing to deal with the ruin nerf and try to see how it goes.

but huge nerfs to doctors abilities in exchange for a couple buffs is a slap in the face.

I mean it's not exactly perfect information, but since the announcement the max players on an average day has dropped from 45k players to 28k on steam charts, so they should at least be concerned already. Nobody is impressed with this #########.

As someone who bought DLC, cosmetics and the rift, I'm done giving them my money after it became clear to me that they don't care about the killer's gaming experience. We keep getting weaker while the 4-man SWF gets more dominant with nothing being done about it. I'm using up all my ebony moris then quitting until I see some major improvements

By leaving the game you just hurt the community. That usually gets game developers to just start a new project instead of working on a failing one.

It's best to stick around and give feedback.

It gets better in time, with ups and downs

Take a look at Warframe or Battlefront 2.

i just played killer without ruin and for me game went better swf only did 2 gens at star i was like dam 4 men swf ( all necy 3 in the same skin and one with diffrent as a team leader) i will lose cos i got mcmilan with the god window as the huntress but as soon as i did hook first of them the game start to snowball pretty well . So no in my opinion you dont need to have ruin to do fine in matches you only ned to get better at tracking survivors and apply presure on gens

I never spent more than $4 on this game. Everything I have from it was gifted to me or earned so the monetary part never bothered me. I just don’t expect anyone who mains killer to play as often or at all.

Less killers means longer queues for survivors. Lobby simulator is not fun for survivors. As the enjoyment of survivors is the devs top priority, they will have to respond to make sure survivors have fun.

Suppose you keep playing killer and not spending money. Survivors will still have games and they will be tbagging you at the exit gates with their freshly bought duds. Survivors are having fun and buying cosmetics, mission accomplished.

Not spending money is definitely the first step. However, forcing queue times to become longer by not playing puts added pressure on devs because it will cause others who would normally continue playing and putting money into the game to stop. Devs will have to either change the direction they're taking the game or finally program bots to fix the queue times.

I miss Battlefront II... Extraction was so much fun. :*( Nothing they've added since has been nearly as good, and they all but removed Extraction from the game. Between Battlefront II and DbD, I've come to see that online multiplayer games are not a good investment.

We did just come off of a double BP and the ptb is happening just to take that in mind.

Though doesn't mean people haven't left cause of it

Here is what is happening (literally already):

    • In recent updates survivor que has been progressively getting long, as killers are steadily leaving game.
    • Since the announcement of the Doc/Ruin changes survivor que time (for me at least) has increased 5-10 minutes on average, which I imagine a large group of killers left.
    • I've been seeing more killers camping.
    • I've been seeing more mori's
    • I've been seeing more basement builds
    • I've been seeing more Hags
    • I've been seeing more end game builds
