Corrupt Intervention uncounterable counter
I've seen a lot of people saying everyone should switch to corrupt intervention instead of using ruin, so I've come to save every survivor main, thank me later.
(This works better with urban evasion).
When the match starts, as soon as you see a gen being hugged by entity's paws, you start crouching away of every thing and play ultra stealthy for 120 seconds. (Bonus points if you stun the killer without them seeing you first, it should grant you the "Jump scare! 50 BP").
Watch the killer going back and forth looking for people while desperately having an eye on his precious timer; just like ruin, corrupt intervention will be cancelled by survivors without having an impact on the game.
By the time the timer ends, the killer's morality will be so low that you can trigger his PTSD with the very least form of bullying, so be careful, we're not trying to traumatize anyone (or are we?)

You need all four survivors willing to do nothing at all for two minutes. Only blendettes have that level of patience.

Being a blendette is the right way to play this game, so it shouldn't be that hard

Whispers. Next.

How dare you

Isn't that the whole entire thing that corrupt intervention is supposed to do? Slow down the game early? Sounds like just letting the perk do its job, similar to just not doing generators while ruin is up. (Different situation but you get the point)

Yes.Corrupt Intervention is underperforming nerf it devs.

As usual, pressure the gen in the middle.

This works, IF the Killer does not have Whispers and IF everyone would play like that. I have never seen it happen, even tho it would be the best counter.

Doing nothing for that 2 minutes is exactly what a Trapper or Hag player would want. They get to setup and the survivors have done nothing, not even make progress on the gens that aren't blocked.

How is playing like a blendette any effective at high ranks when most killers run at least one tracking perk like Whispers or BBQ?

I see loads of blendettes at high rank that escape through the hatch with 10k points. If you do nothing but hide and refuse to help your team your chances of escape aren't actually bad. I've even seen them running left behind recently 😁

Tbh I always have trouble with that. I use corrupt mostly on Plague. I don't have room for whispers in my build so I always struggle finding people. Sometimes I don't find anybody until the duration is over. I've even seen some survivors purposely avoid the crows.

Well I usually classify being effective as helping the team but I guess what you described works for some people with lacking morals.

Survivors tend to get more immersed against plague, so they don't sick straight away. With plague and corrupt intervention I just keep patrolling and vomming on every gen until I find one, they have to come out at some point.

Yeah, but slowing the game down early doesn't mean anything if the killer can't find and hook anybody for pressure. If everyone manages to stealth the killer out for the duration of CI, then it hasn't served its purpose and the killer is stuck with 3 perks for the rest of the match. But this is still really unlikely to happen unless the map is something like Coldwind, an indoor map, or a huge map like Temple of Purgation or Mother's Dwelling, so it is still really possible on a good chunk of maps.

Yeah, I wish there were less of them.

I'll be using this (eventually) with Hag and Freddy. I would think/hope discordance would help as well.

Detective Clown:
"Corrupt Intervention + I'm All Ears + Whispers + Infectious Fright"
End-game Clown:
"Blood Warden + No One Escapes Death + Rancor + Remember Me"
Basement Clown:
"Agitation + Corrupt Intervention + Knock Out + Iron Grasp"

Or you could just spread out and do the other 4 gens which are unaffected by it.

Sadly I had this exact situation when I first got plague. 2 minutes on her temple map of spitting on my 4 unblocked gens till gens got unblocked so I ventured out to my new gens and later come back to my first gen with someone on it.
As with most killers you have to change your playstyle if it's obviously a trapper (while you're sitting around doing nothing you should see him in the distance) or hag (not so easy), you're playing right into their hands. Least with corrupt w/o ruin you can stack on the unblocked gens for 180% speed on 2 gens each or so on (or split 1 per gen as usual, just don't 3 gen yourself thanks to those first blocked ones).

I guess everyone has a different definition of fun.
