Do you think the game is survivor sided or no?

no its not survivor sided:)
i like how people actually believe that the devs are thinking "okay, we need to make one side super weak so that the other won't have anybody to play against"
grow up man.

yes its survivor sided:(
mfw " "okay, we need to make one side super weak so that the other won't have anybody to play against" "
also the devs: nerfs ruin after nerfing the top killers and now the number of killers is gonna drop.
yup great point man

no its not survivor sided:)
they didn't change the perk because they wanted to make people upset, they did it because ruin had an awful design from 2016 that needed to be changed.

yes its survivor sided:(
That isn't exactly what they are thinking. They are thinking "Killers will play a killer with a much greater range of disability than survivors would, so we need to make sure Survivors are having fun playing as that is where we make the most money."

That people still claim that the queue times are because of people quitting. If people quitting would be the reason, it would not have happened from one day to another.

yes its survivor sided:(
never said they're changing it to make people upset
ruin being changed is an overall great thing to do, but they picked probably the worst time to change it. Gen speed is a hot topic recently.
it doesnt even have that bad of a design to it, really only baby survivors that dont know how to play around it think that.
killers use ruin to actually find a survivor and hopefully hook them before ruin blasts away to get pressure and momentum going before 2 gens are done. Killers usually dont even like using ruin because they would like a 4th perk but with how gens are handled these days there isnt much of a choice.
Say they changed ruin in the same patch as adding/changing something to slow down the very early game, then survivors AND killers would universally accept the change.

do you have any proof of the developers saying that this is what they are thinking?
1 -
yes its survivor sided:(
the queue times are long because of the new ranking systems.
its easy to pip up as survivor and with how easy it is to get red ranks now, most people playing are stuck in the high ranks when they should be in yellow or whatever, and because of the new "SWF will now match-make based on the highest ranking survivor" most lobbies will be in red ranks. A rank 1 and 3 rank 20's will go against a rank 1 killer instead of a yellow rank killer which puts a ton of players in high rank matchmaking.

Increasing time on generators would have a massive impact on balance and on the overall structure that the developers built the game around.
You can't just go around and hunt survivors without applying pressure onto survivors and without protecting generators. People need to get better and stop relying on a passive perk to do all the work for them.
The biggest problem of this community is people who refuse to understand that it's okay to not be very good at video games, it's not the end of the world. The game is balanced, you are unskilled.

really so you saying a killer who has to Find,chase,hit.chase.down,pick up, go to hook, hook then repeat that three times PER survivor while also dealing with gens that can pop at maxium 80 seconds while also dealing with DS BT DH UB a whole host perks times that by 4 are unskilled give me a break survivors have so many advantages and thats not taking into account the god loops, infinties, how you can have two jungle gyms tiles that are next to each other and all those pallets. Killers have so much work to do that a perk that can help passively relive some of the stress and give killers more time early game is getting changed where its no longer going to help them early game the game is not balanced and this patch is going to make it even more unbalance

Its not survivor sided. The people complaining are just good at one aspect of the game. I rarely ever get less than 3 survivors and i survive more often than im sacrificed.
2 -
yes its survivor sided:(
ah yes the classic "stop relying on a perk and get better"
yes because my 115% movement speed killer can walk across coldwind farms to stop the gen in time
its all so simple guess every killer that plays the game is just bad
also never said anything about increasing time on generators, so please stop putting words in my mouth.

all mentions of bad map design aside
yea basically.

no its not survivor sided:)
let's put bad map design aside, I'm aware it's an issue.

no its not survivor sided:)
you don't need to slow down the early game, you need to get better.
0 -
yes its survivor sided:(
how are we gonna "put bad map design aside?"
This is LITERALLY what ruin is helpful for...
5 -
no its not survivor sided:)
i think it's safe to state that everyone is aware something needs to be done about maps, they're the biggest issue in the history of the game.

yes its survivor sided:(
Well have you read the ptb announcement?
All they claim is the changes are soo it's easier and less frustating for survivors, while killers need this change because the emblems are the most important thing ever
2 -
yes its survivor sided:(
yup
get better when i cant walk around with a gen being done
logic is so on point im sweating in fear

It’s complicated

Just spitballing, if we say certain larger maps take a killer roughly 40 seconds to traverse, and don't think of toolboxes, perks, or co op working to help speed gens, the results are as follows: at least a half a gen is done, and halfway decent survivors can loop and stuff for 40+ seconds easily. plus infinites, having to pick up and carry the survivor to a hook, and hook them comes out to at least 1 gen getting done and at max 3 (3 different survivors each on a gen). after that, gens are easier to patrol, so the problem is clearly the early game. few killers can speed across. only really Nurse, Billy, and Spirit can. that means the majority have early game problems, while survivors often spawn next to a gen possibly with someone else.

With the current killer nerf trend I'd say yeah.

no its not survivor sided:)
just imagine if the killer was OP you wouldnt even have survivors

This.

No, or at the very least, not anymore.

I agree

With the removal of vacuum vaults, 2 windows in killer shack. The introduction of Bloodlust and Entity Blocker. It definitely is not Survivor sided. I am rank 1 both sides, if the killer is not good it is easy to say that it is Survivor sided (because you cant possibly put enough map & gen pressure.)
0 -
yes its survivor sided:(
I feel like it solely depends on the map and the players, but with the recent ruin Nerf its tilted for survivors. However I feel like you shoudn't have to rely on perks to win the game or vice versa have a perk win you the game.
0 -
yes its survivor sided:(
On smaller maps it's not that bad as long as you're playing some of the better killers, but on bigger maps which is a large chunk, I'd say the game is horribly imbalanced, in survivors favor
0 -
yes its survivor sided:(
Its obviously survivor sided, specially in lower ranks... The better the rank worst the killers become.
