What would happen if the plague drank from a pool of devotion?

The plague’s ability is to infect survivors and make them sick, however all it takes to fully cure them is to drink and wash their face from a pool of devotion, so what would happen if the plague tried to drink from it?

Will she get cured? Do you think the entity doesn’t allow her to drink from the fountain? Will the fountain get corrupted if she drinks from it? And if so why can’t she use it for free corrupt purge?

Multiple things I have on my mind:

The Entity truly doesn’t allow her to drink to torture her into doing what it wants

Maybe The Entity deceived her into thinking her disease is a blessing from the gods and she must endure it and accept it.

or maybe if the plague gets 4 kills the entity rewards her by allowing her to drink from the fountain after the trial ends.

what else do you guys think?

I made a thread called "What if Adiris isn't The Plague?" that posits the idea that Adiris and the plague have a symbiotic relationship and mutual dependency. If so, than being cured/purified would probably kill Adiris, or at least The Plague.
