So in thought, something out of the corner of your eye that disappears when you look at it, it might really be there.

That’s actually extremely true! In particular, they remember the faces of people who have wronged them, and they definitely hold grudges..... (and you thought survivors were salty!)
They are also very creative. Crows in cities will drop nuts at intersections so that cars will crunch them open. Then they swoop down to eat when the light turns red.
