Funny and most unique killer idea
I was talking to my brother that I dislike the doctor because BHVR waisted the name "Doctor" on some strange dude with an electical dildo in his hands and then I tried to remeber what cool ideas I have creating the true "Doctor" and I had a crazy idea!
First! If you look at most killer they have very similar playstyles the CC-killers (trapper,clown,freddy,doc), the attack-from-distance-killer (Nurse,huntres,plaugue,hag), the jump-on-you-killers/sprinting killers (Billy,Oni,Spirit,demo,pig) and the stealth-killers(wraith, MM, Ghostface,pig,insidiousbubba).
Second! At red ranks the biggest stength of survivors is teamplay, individual running skills and their awarness of the killer.
SO I thought that doctors use a flashlight for the cranial nerve exam in real life would be funny if Doctor whould use a flashlight AND THEN I REAlIZED that it would soooo funny when the survivor was running away and would peak behind to see what you are doing and you are blinding him with the flashlight so HE cant see anything!
It sounds so funny to me, a killer using a flashlight to attack survivors but its so brilliant! if you could take away the power to look behind with a killer power it could create such fun gameplay with a lot of real mindgames. He could have it on his secondary power and when he uses it it would drain a little and then recharge over time.
Then again BHVR already used "Doctor" (such a shame!), but the idea could be used in an other context. SO i thought about an other character (Attention! very crazy idea) he does not fit the killer roll but his powers would be hilarious in DBD I am talking about Blitz from Rainbow Six Siege, he can use his shield to blind people watching at him + he can throw flashbangs. we just need a killer that fits the lore and give him/her a flash ability on M2 (with charges, just like Blitz) AND on CTRL a secondary AOE attack that can be thrown like clown bottles at survivors to take away their hearing sense for ~20sec maybe, of course also with a cooldown or a charging mechanic like blood orbs of Oni. Maybe a Red-Addon for the AOE attack that makes people not loose hearing but instead revert movement for 5 seconds.
The best part is baby survivor would not be too much affected by this because they dont look back :D
Lore: Maybe we could use a "Witch" for those powers? Witch sounds cool and "dark magic" could explain such blind (it could also be not a blind but the DARKNESS takes away the eyesight for a short period of time) and anti hearing magic (maybe the survivor is hallucinating a cloud of bats or birds that swarm his ears and because of that cant hear anything)
