2 dead, 3 gens done with 2 left, 1 hurt but hatch not even on map yet?
There was no hatch on the HUD. Am i misunderstand the hatch mechanics?
I thought it would at the very least be on the map and as soon as the last one died it would open. But no hatch on the map at all on no hatch icon either meaning its not even on the map.

The hatch symbol only appears on the HUD when the hatch is open, so if there are two survivors left, it won't come up.

Then i must have missed it in my search. I spent a good deal of time during the game and once it became clear we were not going to finish the gens searching for the hatch.
I seem to think that the hatch icon still shows up ingame when it gets placed and then the door opens on the icon itself when it is open.
I cant rem. I dont play surv all that often and am a killer main but thanks

The Hatch spawns on the Map when 1gen more then remaining Survs. is done...

IT used to actually spawn on the map but not be open now it doesn't always do that even when conditions are met for it to spawn. There also seems to be an issue that the killer or some at least always know where it spawns. This despite the fact that it spawns on the far side of the map from them and they wouldn't know it's there.

The hatch appears on the hud when its open and it only opens when you are the last remaining survivor
