I know! As you mentioned, the lore states that someo group know about its existence and there's actually a cult to it. If I remember correctly, The Observer talked about multiple dimensions and the Entity consuming some. Very Lovecraftian lore, I love it!

It's an aggregate sentience that feeds on suffering-- Vigo refers to it as an "Ancient One", clearly a term that is well-known on the planet he comes from but not to us-- but Vigo seems to think that even that's wrong. So it's up in the air.

To clarify, when I say an aggregate sentience, I mean it's more like the Entity's Realm isn't the realm the Entity resides in-- but rather that the Entity is its realm.
