...in your opinion, of course.

Yes, we can just disassociate them from our own person canons, but really why were they made? Also we're talking sequels, not remakes etc.

Here's a few of my most loathed sequels:

-Nutty Professor 2: The Klumps

-Henry: Portrait Of A Serial Killer 2

-Indiana Jones: Crystal Skull

-Beverly Hills Cop 3

-Terminator 3 (onwards)

-Alien: Resurrection

-Jaws 3

-Star Wars: Force Awakens (onwards)

-Jason Goes To Hell (Friday 13th IX)

Jurassic Park 3 and both Jurassic World films. JP 3 really doesn't need to exist. Even if it is my second favorite JP film and was my favorite as a kid mainly due to the Spinosaurus, and is definitely the reason Spinosaurus is my favorite dinosaur nowadays, even if the one in the film was wholly inaccurate, it is loathed by most JP fans. It was the first film not based on one of Crichton's novels and didn't have Spielberg directing it, which I feel made it suffer. It was basically a recycle heap of all the ideas from the novels that Spielberg couldn't use in the first two JP films, namely the Aviary and Raft scenes.

The new characters introduced are annoying at best and insufferable at worst. We've got "I stole Raptor eggs for no good reason" Billy, Amanda "I won't shut up no matter how many times Grant tells me yelling is a bad idea" Kirby, and her husband, Paul "Tricycloplots" Kirby, who gets a pass for that line alone. The marines don't serve much use, Nash and Cooper both get eaten by the Spino before we are even on the island for 5 minutes, and Udesky has a cool death by the Raptors I guess?

Then there's the big reason a lot of people hat this movie. The Spinosaurus. While I personally am a fan of it, a lot of people hate it for killing off the Tyrannosaurus and it having basically no screen presence. It shows up at the beginning and kills the T. rex, shows up once in the middle when the Kirbys are reunited, and shows up at the end and gets scared away by fire. I suppose people just don't have as much of a connection with the Spino as they do the Rexes from movies past, but I thought it was alright.

Overall, as much as I love JP 3, it really shouldn't have been made. There was no third JP novel from Crichton to base it on, and Spielberg wasn't directing it. It is still generally loathed by the fanbase to this day, and I get where they are coming from and can't blame them.

As for the Jurassic World films, that's a whole new beast. A reboot (is reboot the correct term here?), now with insanely noticable CGI compared to the much more realistic animatronics from previous films. The Indominus and Indoraptor are dumb, the whole storyline with Blue is dumb, characters are dumb, the only alright one is Owen because he's Chris Pratt. Plot devices like the Indoraptor being controlled by a gun are dumb, seriously, why not just use an actual gun and shoot a person, or train it with whistles like Owen did with his Raptor pack which was a lot faster than shooting a gun. And HOLY #########, the thing with Maisie or however you spell her name being a clone and setting the dinosaurs free becuase they are clones too is so dumb, holy #########. The only good scene in FK was when the Brachiosaurus got killed by the volcano, gets my heartstrings going everytime, especially since it's supposed to be the first Brachiosaurus from the original Jurassic Park. My feeling for Fallen Kingdom can be perfectly summed up with this video:

Everything from JP 3 onward shouldn't exist.

I agree with everything except Star Wars. I actually liked TFA.

For me, these shouldn't have been a sequel:

    Sinister 2

    RZ's Halloween II

    Doolittle

Nightmare on Elm Street 2, 5 (onwards)

    Dumb and Dumberer

    All of Transformers

    Scary Movie 5

    The Crow: City of Angels

    Son of the Mask

    Texas Chainsaw 2 (onwards)

Human Centipede should never have existed

[BAD WORD] Paul Blart 1 and 2

While I enjoyed the movie at the time, Cars 2 shouldn't have been made. Cars 3 should've been Cars 2.

There is a ton for me but the one that immediately comes to my mind right now is The Hills have Eyes 3. That weird tongue mutant thingy just ... bah.

Can I call Ghostbusters 2016 a sequel? Cause if so, that, but I'm hoping the new one can rekindle the series.

And while I love them, Back to the Future 2 and 3 never really needed to exist.

Independence Day 2 shouldn’t have been made.

The new Charlie’s Angels with the chick from twilight shouldn’t have been made, instead, Charlie’s Angels 3 with Drew Berrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu would have been much better.

All of the new Star Wars films shouldn’t have been made. I actually liked Rey in The Force Awakens, but most of the writing and character development was trash for all three films. John Faveru should have been put in charge of the franchise from the beginning.

Blade 3 shouldn’t have been made.
