Targeting Popular Killers and Franchises
It's no secret that Dead by Daylight has loads of famous killers, survivors, and maps from horror movies and tv shows. This is done on purpose because it helps expand the player base of the game. Also, money. It definitely brings big bucks home. *cough cough* Stranger Things Chapter *clears throat*
Anyway, we have a bunch of iconic killers, like Freddy and Ghost Face. Though, we don't have killers that are less known, like the gang from The Strangers and The Tethered from Us.
I understand that the devs are trying to make a big portion of the community happy by attempting to add Pennywise, or Shirtless Myers, or whatever you guys want. But at least take the others into consideration.
The others that are saying "Please don't add Shirtless Myers, it just doesn't look correct and kind of ruins the horror aspect of the killer" or the ones who want more Adam cosmetics...
It's hard to make everyone happy, I get that. I really do. I guess 80% of the community has a louder voice than the other 20%, but it's not that hard to take what a small portion of what people are asking for into consideration.

I hope they don't add shirtless Myers. The escaped patient costume already looks out of place enough

So if I've understood correctly, the TL;DR is, "please no Shirtless Myers"?
Honestly, I'd be very surprised if 80% of the community want that to happen. I think for most people, it's just a meme. It's fun to pretend that everyone is just thirsting for Shirtless Myers, but I think in reality the amount of people who genuinely want to see it in the game is probably much smaller.

That AND other things I’ve listed. Like certain killers. It’s weird to me how we only see the best of the best, but we don’t see the ones that won’t profit as well.

I agree. I rewatched Halloween and I swear that the outfit was NOT that detailed. It just looked like a white gown to me. Though, it was fairly dark and stormy during that scene, but who knows?
