My ego has nothing to do with anything.
This is pretty faulty equivocation. None of those things are in any way comparable.
Keys are broken, but are an item that requires a feature in the game to appear under a specific set of circumstances, whereas Billy always has access to M2 from the get-go.
If the chainsaw is broken, it should not be impossible at all - on the contrary, you should have an easy time.

You can compare Keys to a Mori, however. They both have a similar function - ending the game for one side or the other, with an Ivory Mori being the equivalent of one person escaping through the hatch and an Ebony being the equivalent of everyone escaping through the hatch at about 1 gen or so (or is it with the exit gates powered? I can't remember).

he's not getting a nerf, so nope. just like any other killer, billy is easy to loop and his chainsaw requires skill in order to use it properly against good survivors.

These are the best killers going vs the best survivors and survivors lose 95 percent of the time. And that's with Killers going on and on about survivors being OP.

Even if I did show you "my matches". Would you actually take that as proof. Would you be like darn I was wrong. Billy does need to be fixed? You'll just move the goal posts, you'll say that I wasn't that good or that I was playing against weak survivors or that it only counts if they don't suicide on hook or whatever BS you feel like feeding me. I wouldn't waste my time trying to appease you and no one else should either. You're nothing more than a troll.

You literally forgot to add, has to be red rank killer so not all matches go against complete potatoes and maybe there are some good survivors.

Record and play 10 matches as Billy using the guidelines I wrote and upload them to YouTube.
If you believe that Billy's chainsaw is busted, it shouldn't be a problem for you.

No but most skilled people reside there, the chances there to find skilled people are actually higher compared to other ranks. Who cares about a 4k when the survivors are braindead? Nobody.

I don't think so just because people die because they have no clue what to do, doesn't mean there should be changes due to that. In red ranks the chance is higher to have people playing who actually know what they are doing.

Rank is more of an indicator of how much time a player has to play DBD, rather than their skill level. More time doesn't necessarily result in more skill, although it does to an extent.
A Survivor, for example, can be an adept looper with extensive map knowledge who goes against Killers who commit to chasing them for about all match, and then they safety or even depip because they didn't satisfy the ranking system's requirements for ranking up and therefore remain at a lower Rank than they "belong".

How about spirit. It isn't impossible to get 4k without perks and add-ons(from experience) but does that mean she is balanced?
On the other hand,bubba. If you play a perkless and addonless game,you will barely have 2 kills max. Does that mean he is balanced?
Conclusion, the way you see if something is balanced is false,that's why what you tasked us to do is impossible to fulfil. Imo,of course

Graphs. A test that evolves 20 games and no moris or keys are allowed. Survivors and billies that are equal. If he gets the majority 4ks,then op. If 1ks, underpowered

I'm about to hit a toke and I'll go on as Hillbilly and record my first match, no perks, offerings, add ons. I'll try to always go for chainsaws first too - and maybe I'll update this comment regardless of how it turns out.
BTW I do have hearing loss, so without perks, this will be exceptionally difficult.

He's like the most balanced Killer in the game right now.

Yeah true, if I'm a survivor and I know Billy is just trying for chainsaw, then I'm going to go find a area where he will have trouble, I'm not going to purposely not try protect myself lol if your a good billy user then yes you likely to get everyone, but for the not so experienced user, you will have to now and again take a swing with melee

None of them will ever do this challenge. They'll say they did, and write long drawn out posts about it attempting to validate their abysmal logic, but that's about it. We all know what they really are. Survivor mains who want an easy game.

I don't care that much about Billy, I don't actually think he is that overpowered. What's overpowered is hitboxes. How am I supposed to play around his power if I clearly bait it, but still can't avoid it?

I'm replying to posts that I find relevant to my interests. It's a forum, with many users. Some of us like to be more in on the conversation than others. If you don't like people replying to you, perhaps you should refrain from posting? That's really your only solution. I'm not doing anything wrong.

De-sync, or hitbox issue. It's stuff like this that leads to frustration when playing against Killers like Billy more than anything else. I mean it happens with other killers as well. But they are also not nearly as mobile, nor do they have one shot potential. (For some reason it seems to happen the most with Billy in my case) Instead of the killer being OP. It's just frustration over not being able to afford any mistakes, and stuff like this happens. You can't trust the games mechanics and are heavily punished for it.

Unfortunately, when it comes to "hitboxes", they will never be fixed completely for that reason. It's the same in non-LAN shooters as well. It can be remedied and minimized as much as possible, but it's not possible to completely fix it.

May I add... Hillbilly is litterally the easiest killer to get used to...
All you have to do is know how to keep your chainsaw rev'ed up, and let go when you are near a survivor. I litterally played Hillbilly in green ranks during rank reset, and... I dominated. Like yes you wont dominate every game. But it is the truth that Hillbilly is an extremely strong killer.
EDIT: I decided to edit last minute before I get bashed on. I only have 2 perks equipped on Billy. And barely have any addons on him. I never even bothered to level him up much. So before you tell me "Did you use NOED" or.. "What Addons?" I litterally have the starter kit and that's really it... hes pretty easy.

He's strong, yes. But not overpowered. He has counters, and weaknesses, that are easily exploited.

You get more towards a pip if you do your objective than you do escaping. I commit to the gen all the time, even if it means I go down or take a hit.

I'm back from a forced stop (ban) and i see BS once i get back. Billy is nowwhere op i'm billy main and play against every often.
The so mighty Flickbilly as Pro players call it. Can be dodged much like insta-saw itself. The chainsaw take 2,5s to charge with insta-saw which isn't one reduce the cooldown by 36% which is making the charge at 1.6s it's not even half.
As nurse is nerfed , spirit is nerfed and ruin which is the most biased changes that the devs have done these past months. Hillbilly will get changed because of the rank system that is not skilled based. People think that red ranks means that they the best players in the game and so think they opinions is right. The true skilled one at red ranks knows that hillbilly is another M1 killer with a high mobillity. The flickbilly is countered with his long charge when using both engravings and so change loops, when using thompson mix/carburator/bub combo his speed can be countered on loops if they are small.
Red ranks is 90% of bad players that get there because of how easy it is to get there. with the new reset system is even worse long queues for survivors and long queues for low ranks killers. That is what need changes.
However i do agree that add-ons should be changed not because their are strong but because there is no ultra rare add-ons.

So first of all, the experiment is valid. As I've explained, the complaint is that Hillbilly is OP - and what makes him OP is his Power, rather than his stellar ability with M1s or how nice NOED looks in his loadout.
As I've said before, the purpose is to gauge the power level of the character's power.
If something is OP, then it doesn't need extra bonuses - it's OP by itself.
If the character's Power is OP then it's OP at its base. Any Killer can use Pop Goes the Weasel, Thrilling Tremors and NOED - you can load them up on an M1 Legion. The purpose is to discern is whether the Billy's base Power is OP, that's why Perks and Addons don't come into it. We don't need to see some clown slap on Devour Hope with an Ebony Mori going "see!? OP!".
It has nothing to do with playstyle. We need to see if the Killer's base kit enables the Killer player to consistently cut down chases by an abnormal amount of time and down multiple players in a way that a group of 4 players cannot compete with.
I'm frankly very surprised that people who assert that the character's Power is OP and spent an entire page of text saying how broken and unfair he is and how his Power has no counterplay, gives him absolute map control and ability to instadown Survivors "24/7" are the same people who then backpedal away from the challenge claiming that it's "unreasonable" and "impossible".
If something is OP, it's OP. You don't need Perks if you have something that is OP because if your Power is OP you can just win games just by using it.
An OP thing in a video game is something that one side can use that the other side has no counterplay to, something that can completely win them. It's something so strong that if even a novice player uses it, they can obliterate much better, more experienced players on the side that doesn't have it.
If you have something like that, Perks are not the factor. We're not here to gauge how effective NOED is. We're talking about the Billy's base Power.
As for your handwaving with the streamer thing as if those matches are evidence:
I've explained before the criteria I'm looking for, so if you think you can find 10 matches that the streamers you've mentioned played where they played no Perks, no Addons and prioritized chainsaw hits while attempting to get 4k's then you should feel free to link them.
You don't have to do the experiment if you don't want to - it's called not accepting the challenge. It seems pretty obvious that you're not up to the challenge so it's fine. No one ever said there's any penalty for not participating.

My problem with billy is the combo of him with barbecue and chilli. As a survivor main who plays solo only, it feels like every match with billy is just down, bbq to next survivor, down, repeat. A lot of randoms don't counter bbq when EVERY killer runs it. If they don't tweak Billy's speed than maybe they can not allow the combo of billy and bbq.

Some low-skill players are not a good reason to nerf something that isn't broken.
Ever since BBQ was released, the devs have added more and more ways for Survivors to counter and nullify BBQ.
It feels like 9 out of 10 times when you hook someone and look around for BBQ auras, the entire team just stops existing.
It gets worse when you play against adept Survivors. Some of them don't even bother to hide from the BBQ, they don't care if you see them or not. Even if you zoom right at them as soon as you can, it's not like you're going to catch them - at least not easily, not fast.
That's because adept Survivors don't just crouch behind a rock in the middle of a dead zone when someone gets hooked. They don't hang around dead zones if they can help it, just in general.
You saw their aura? Great. As you chainsaw dash over to them you also see the three connected jungle gyms they're hanging out at. Have fun chasing on that setup. You're not chainsawing anything there.
I read a lot of complaints of people saying that Billy is broken at base, that the chainsaw is unfair, that he needs (more) cooldowns, etc.
I really just want them to feel what it's like to actually try to play Billy (and to try and chainsaw someone on Dedicated Servers for some bonus suffering).

I just believe that since he has the highest mobility and map pressure (because of his chainsaw dash), he shouldn't have a high speed. I think reducing his speed to match the Huntress would be fine.
