Why Discordance tier 1 is better?
I mean tier 1 give you 8 seconds to know 2 or more survivors are in a gen, tier 3 give you 12 seconds to know 2 or more survivors are in a gen, has no sense, you want notifications that are close to real time not at the contrary... So I realize that I waste many BP with bad Discordance tier 3.

The explosions should clue you in on if it's being worked on in real time or not.

While I understand people enjoy having the "explosion" happen ever 8 seconds instead of 12, I personally find it annoying and find tier 3 better.
Tier 1 isn't better than tier 3 its just a preference people have.

I don't even think it matters. You know they are there, that's good enough. I use it on someone like freddy or billy who can almost instantly respond to it. On the high mobility killers, it's usually best to just drop any chase you are in and go to it immediately.

some say that tier 1 is better than tier 3, due to the explosion happening every 8 seconds, therefore them getting a notification more often when more players are on the gen.
i personally always look over to where the explosion happens once it does and then i know exactly what gen 2 of em are working on, so additional noise bubbles to that are unnecessary to me.
some prefer not looking over there though and instead put all their focus into the chase, which is why they prefer having more notifications, so they dont need to look over there to see when the gen turns back to red.
its really just a question of preferences.
some like it one way, the others dont.
imo it doesnt really make any difference though.

It's also pretty godly on ghostface, letting you get tons of stalk value from your night shrouds. This game-ending stalk was because of discordance.

The teachables I haven't unlocked on Pig have vanished thanks to a bug that has yet to be fixed, so I already have extra space for more add-ons. ;)

Tell me how it even matters on someone like freddy though. You get the notification, you teleport to the gen, and you can't teleport for another 30 seconds or something.

Having less cooldown makes a perk better.

Discordance is definitely way underrated imo.

The perk doesn't have a cooldown in the traditional sense. It keeps the aura for 8 or 12 seconds however it will continue to reset at the end of each respective interval.
So having a "pop" every 8 seconds as apposed to 12 seconds is preference not performance.
