Teachable Perk Discussion #1
If you want to jump ahead to the actual Teachable Perk Discussion then skip to the "⛳️" emoji. For those who are interested in what I have to say beforehand, read from now on.
I want to start my own thing called "Teachable Perk Discussion #1- infinite" and here I call out a perk that HAS to be a teachable. So no Resilience, Slippery Meat, etc...
The targeted perk will be the discussions' main focus, being who's perk it is, the description of it being listed, and the level it can be unlocked at. I will be talking about the perks at their full potential, aka tier 3. I want others to interact and give their opinions and feedback. Such as "I think this perk needs a nerf/ buff BECAUSE ___" or "I disagree with your statement BECAUSE ___" Basically, I want it to VERY interactive.
-Firstly, I'll say wether or not the perk is good or not
-Secondly, I'll say if the perk is worth taking into a match in its current state
-Then, I'll state what's wrong with the perk and explain WHY it's good or bad
-Lastly, I'll say what I'd do to change the perk
After that, I'll ask you similar questions! And I would love responses!
-Do you think the perk is good or not?
-Is this a perk worth taking for you and do you take it into a match in its current state?
-What do you think is wrong with the perk? Explain WHY it's good or bad.
-What would you change about the perk?
Got it? Good! Now for the actual discussion.
⛳️ Today's targeted teachable perk is:
Kate Denson's Boil Over. Boil Over can be unlocked at level 40.
*Your struggle effects on the killer are increased by 75%
*You obscure the killer's ability to the auras of hooks that are within a range of 12 meters
My take on Boil Over:
-Is Boil Over good? No
-Is Boil Over worth taking into a match in its current state? No
-Why is Boil Over bad? It's too situational. The amount of times I've wiggled free BECAUSE of Boil Over is very low. Aura hook obscuring is a good concept, but wasted potential since 12 meters is absolutely NOTHING!
-What I'd change about Boil Over:
>The basement hooks auras are always obscured
>The wiggle speed is increased by 20% from the basement stairs and the basement itself
>Everything else about the perk will stay as the same
With these changes, it will make it a basement prevention perk
Your take on Boil Over. Please answer all questions:
-Do you think Boil Over is good?
-iIs Boil Over worth taking for you and and do you take it into a match in its current state?
-What do you think is wrong with Boil Over? Explain WHY it's good or bad
-What would you change about Boil Over?

I can already see one of the things about to be said:
"It's meant to be combined with other perks (like Unbreakable, Tenacity, Flip-Flop)"
This might just be my opinion, but I feel that all perks should be usable on their own. If a perk is so weak that other perks are required to get use out of it, I would rather just make a build that involves better perks.
