Devs, meta Survivors are unfun and frustrating to go against
Dead Hard - a perk Survivors use to prolong loops around a pallet or to reach a safe spot when they had to die without DH. Awful.
Decisive Strike - Survivors DS’ed my ass even if I don’t tunnel, I was just overperforming and downing them for their mistakes too quickly..
Borrowed Time - why this perk got buffed so much? And it used not as for camping Killers, but for being able to be cocky at hooks.
@Peanits , why do you ignore feedback about at least Decisive? Just why? Survivors are so nasty bcs of tons of second chances.

I agree, so many killer nerds, they need to make it so gen speed doesn’t decrease with extra survivors on but give a bonus instead to skill checks when you hit them like 15% plus progression If all were working on it

Meta sweaty killers are unfun to go against too, thus the nurse/spirit/freddy nerfs
But they went overboard, they keep nerfing legion, they nerfed oni for no reason and now he is pretty awful, and now doc got better in some ways and worse in others
The devs just need to look for ways to improve killers while making them fun and challenging for both sides

and do you really want to say that Bloodwarden is so strong? You can use it, but you ll depip bcs or miserable gen speed.
And why do you complain about Enduring and Spirit Fury? Strong 1v1 perks, but the gens will be done so fast.

Please please PLEASE elaborate on how you think those perks are second chance perks. You didn't even mention noed, which is the closest to a second chance perk killers have and that still isn't one.

Honestly I only think DH needs to be looked at. Makes chases last so long, which is not a good combination with the ruin nerf. Didn’t they say chases should last like 20 seconds or something? LOL

Dude, killers are just AI. Nothing they complain about matters, infact they need to be nerfed more, as the next set of stats will show after bunching up green and purples into red ranks, since they removed rank reset.

Well if 20 secs are really their goal, then they would need to nerf suvivors massivley. Even down to their basekit like movement speed and so on.
This nerf would be too huge for survs and that say I even as a killer main.
Don't get me wrong, I am also annoyed by the ton of second changes perks survs have, but well... It is like it is.

If Survivors would have more like 4 good Perks, you would see more variety. But almost every Survivor Perk is ######### and the last time Survivors got a Metaperk (except MoM) was Dead Hard.

You are using more time waiting 1 minute to get one hook
BT doesn't require you to tunnel, a survivor can simply tank a hit for another survivor during EGC with it
DH also is mostly used to extend loops, not avoid hits only

Don't know what you call meta. I would expect that to be in at least every third game and it is far from that. Both perks are pretty weak on their own, so you need to spend half your slots for this combo. And I only see that "more commonly" on insta down killers like Myers, GF or Billy. Can't remember when I last saw that on Hag, Huntress, Doctor, Demogorgon, Freddy, Spirit...
Btw I think this thread is half of a troll. Like recognizing that "frustration" is the keyword to trigger changes and just throwing it into the room to check for resonance. And trying to join that. Another keyword is counterplay. Spirit Fury got early pallet drop, NOED got totem cleansing, Bloodwarden got 99ing gates. What is the counter to Lithe and BL? DS+Unbreakable also has no counter, this is even a counter-the-counter combo. Really frustrating, nerf pls

as someone who plays both sides, I think it’s killers who force the meta tbh. If they tunnel and camp then that makes survivors use DS and BT, Slugging - unbreakable or adrenaline

That we could also easily say about killers and it is wrong in both cases.
Perks like ruin are not necessary for a killer to do his job and so are second changes perks not necessary for a survivor to do his part.
You forget here 2 very important things:
1- If you always play with op perks, you start to relay on them and that is always bad, because it weakens you as a player over time.
2- As survivor it is not necessary for you to survive a game. You only need to do your part in a match and even if you die, you still getting a good amount of bps, emblems and so on. Killers play in their matches alone, but you as survivor not.
Both killers and survivors have a high variety of perks to their selection and the most them are ok.
The only things survivors and killers need is a good basekit. That they moving fast enough for their role in the matches and so on and that is imo ok by the survivors and some killers. Surley not by every killer.

Kinda disagree. The sweaty red ranks just love to run perks that increase toxicity. If you can abuse it, they will. No matter how fair the killer plays. They won't stop with their play, rather increase the tbaggin to show their superiority

The Thing is, Killers got quite decent Perks with nearly every Patch (I would exclude Stranger Things here, all of Demogorgons Perks are garbage). Also, Killers have more variety in their Perks, because they have different playstyles. You will never find the same Perks every game on the Killer Side, because you dont go against the same Killers all the time. You get an M1-Killer who has Perks like Enduring, Brutal Strength and whatever, next game is a Spirit who will not use any of those Perks.
The only Perk I really need is DS, because Killers are tunneling. Because this is the best way to win a game, elimininate one person early and you have it easy. And after playing a whole evening without DS and getting tunneled in most of the games (because no DS after first Unhook usually means, no DS at all), I dont play any character without DS.
And the rest... Well, its there, why not use it? I stopped caring that much about Killers, because they dont care that much about Survivors either.

I for my part avoid to take perks like noed as example. I don't denie that noed is a strong perk... But...
I don't like to play with it for 3 weeks as example and ending up too need it, to win a match.
There I perfer to stay independend from such perks.
I also have the same mindset in the rar cases where I play as survivor. To win a match only because of a strong perk would feel to cheap for me.

Thing is, as Survivor I dont want to escape. I want to have a fun game. If I escape vs. some Baby Killer, I dont have fun, and if I die to a really good Killer, I still had fun. And fun means for me, that I am in the game as long as possible, which means, I dont want to get tunneled to death. I dont need to escape, thats secondary for me.
As Killer, I want a fun game, but also I dont use Perks like Ruin or NOED. I hate NOED and for Ruin, I felt stressed when it was gone. So I stopped using it and feel better when playing the game. This is more of a psychology-aspect, others feel pressured when playing without Ruin, I feel less pressured, because I dont have to care for a Token or be like "#########, I am playing with 3 Perks now", when its gone.
So yeah, different opinions I guess.

But you just said there are only 4 good perks for survivors, this now sounds different, like there is just DS mandatory and the rest is free to choose from. I think there are pretty many good perks. Currently I run Detectives Hunch + Inner Strength a lot, on Stranger Things release I played a lot Better Together + Prove Thyself, with indoor map offerings I liked to play Lithe + Quick n Quiet + Dance with me, or replace Lithe with Head On for every other map, item builds, rabbit build with Premonition + Lightweight... there is quite a list that is really not bad. You just can argue "there is better"
And regarding the killer perks, you can see it in two ways. Like half of the perks don't really support the killer's playstyle and so don't make any sense to select. For example blood echo is really good for Legion and Oni, but hard to make any value on other killers.

First paragraph:
"like 4 Perks", you can see that as an exaggeration. But in reality, it is not that much more. Because for every new Perk, there is already a better Perk. And they even limited it recently because of the BL-Nerf. I mean, I play usually with my Perk Build which is DS, BT, DH and Iron Will. However, when I level up a character, I dont have all of them, so I grab what I have. Sure, many Perks are on an "Ok"-Level, but there is not really a reason to pick those if they get outclassed by others. Like, why should I use Lithe, when I can go for Dead Hard instead. Or why should I ever consider using Babysitter, when BT is way better. Or why should I use Lucky Break, when Iron Will is also a stealth-Perk, but not time-limited? Or why should I think about using Aftercare, when I can take Bond? I guess you can make that for every Perk for Survivors and end up on the Basegame + Free DLCs + Halloween-DLC. And I dont think that this is ok, but BHVR is afraid of getting really good Perks into the game (for both sides). I wish they would bring something which is more like "bring a new Survivor to Level 40 and then teach the Perks to every other Survivor, but never use them" (as always: MoM is the exception, but it was a Cashgrab).
On other hands, Killers (and coming to the second paragraph):
The way I see it is that Killers usually get a quite useful Perk, a Niche Perk and a garbage Perk. Like Spirit with Spirit Fury (useful), Haunted Grounds (niche) and Rancor (even tho it is not entirely garbage, but there is not really a reason to use Rancor)... Or Legion: Discordance (useful), Iron Maiden (Niche), Mad Grit (garbage)... You can at least get something out of most Perks, and even if it is only useful for specific Killers. Sure, Blood echo is only useful for some Killers, but it is an Option, because Killers have a different playstyle. And therefore, you have more variety in the Killers side, because some Perks are really good on specific Killers, but outright Garbage on other Killers. Of course, when you see it the other way around, one specific Killer is also limited to a set of Perks and others are not really useful on them.

Alright, starting off... That is literally the point of Dead Hard... So its doing its job as intended.
DS, yeah it probably should deactivate if you hook someone else, but for balance reasons you are going to have to solve the slug, hook someone else then re-hook the DS user.
Borrowed Time is fine, literally just down the rescuer... At best in the scenario your are talking about you got two hooks very quickly unless you are terrible at the game. If they are hook rushing for the quick save, hit them before the save and during it, and bam two hooks with little to no chasing, why complain about this?

To your first point: sure, there is a lot of crap around, which is I think simply based on the fact that there are too many perks which cannot be completely balanced to make them equally distributed with pick rate. As you said, especially the ones that outplay each other because targeting the same area.
But what about the combos I listed? And there are probably more I don't know or just forget. And Distortion is also a really good perk, to mention just one, giving you precise information about the killer you could just guess without it. Especially regarding aura reading addons, not only perks. Even if you leave the game with 3 stacks, it gave you the information "has no BBQ or nurses, so I'm safe here". A good perk rarely chosen
