I assume you're playing on console...in which case, I mean, I hate to sound like a snob, but consoles have held back PC graphics for years. What do you expect?

Honestly - my media PC with a 980 from 6 years ago in it runs DBD perfectly fine at 1080p on Ultra. I get that DBD isn't the best optimized game out there, but if you are getting 20fps, I don't think it's a game problem. It's PEBKAC.

If you’re really on 20 FPS maybe try turning your graphics all the way down? my computer sucks and I’ve been playing on a solid 50-60

No I guess after this patch my pc broke and now I cant play games anymore guess thats the issue.

Theres games that have way better graphics than dbd and run consistently on 60fps on console

A couple days ago my laptop installed a new NVIDIA driver, and it actually caused the computer to stop seeing the graphics card at all... FPS in games dropped to like 15. I fixed it by using a Windows restore point to before the new driver was installed, and I told Windows to ignore that update in the future.
Not saying that's your problem... just saying, I recently had a problem with FPS and an updated driver turned out to be causing the issue for me...
