New double standards from the developers
Sound issues. They've been in the game for months and desperately need fixing. No word on that. Wraith and spirit had their re appearance lunge bug for months. Nothing until these patch notes.
A possible killer lunge bug could be in the game (for reference see Inter4ct's stream vod. Specifically the ghostface match on Haddon field). Nothing.
A desicive strike bug happens today and the devs are already working on a fix.
Say what you want about balancing the game but bugs are different.
If it's a perk bug that makes the perk weaker that should take a lower priority because there's choice
If a perk is bugged to be overly strong then that takes a higher priority because it'll be abused.
A killers power should take an even higher priority because its core to their gameplay, whereas their is choice if you wanted to play spirit who would you pick that shares that playstyle you like?
Sound bugs should take the highest priority. Without sound the game is 50% unplayable, with bugged sound that increases to 75%.

Recognize the double standard

Btw the DS bug is beneficial to survivors I hear?

Indeed. They can deny it all they want, but survivors are their priority, and what do you expect, really? Survivors complain about anything that kills them. "Freddy OP. Billy OP"
Survivor bias is strong. We'll see how long that lasts. 😎

lmao the games unplayable anyway XD

Yes buffing doc was exercising survivor priority.
1 -
Explain. The thread I read said that they couldn't ds against doc when they were in madness tier three or something

Wow, another post to complain about the evil developers
How original.

There have been DS fails for months.

It wasn't a buff, or a nerf. It suits a different and more productive playstyle, and they didn't do him wrong, but he remains about the same on the tier list. So that's irrelevant. Especially when the changes were made for the sake of survivors.

Reasoning behind changes is much more complex than the bogus patch notes. The result is a more accessible doc.

So your perfectly fine with all the bugs in the game then?
Nobody's perfect. But if theirs this many bugs that have such a strange priotity list then something needs to be said
0 -
I mean. They straight up nerfed snap out of it.
It's basicly deep wounds but without a red bar. I'd make a joke about lethality but deep wounds doesn't have any

Hardly can call that a doctor buff, he had only 2 buffs and like 5 nerfs so overall he's still pretty much the same as before but now less experienced players will be able to play doc consistently now.
3 -
They did do that, yeah...but his anti loop potential is actually higher now. So I'll take that trade off.

Doc is way better now than he was. Anyone that says otherwise probably isn't as good of a killer as they think they are.
1 -
This isn't a post about doctor. It's a post about the bug fixing priority.

Not all bugs are equal.
Sound bugs are cooked into the engine. Fixing them is not easy.
Lunge bug is animations or possibly collision. Again it's likely something more complex.
A bug related to a perk not working is more high level, therefore it is easier to fix.
Furthermore, just because they haven't said they are working to fix these bugs doesn't mean they aren't fixing the bugs.

The worst players cry the loudest

They also don't care how buggy the game they're playing is

They fixed Oni’s flick, Spirit and Wraith’s lunging bugs, and reworked Doctor and his map. I wouldn’t say they have a double standard.
Sound bugs (while frustrating) are not as easy to fix. I have no idea how they break every other patch. I totally agree it is frustrating as hell, I have voiced my annoyance of it multiple times. It’s just not that easy to fix though.
DS is a perk. A pretty easy and simple fix. Just like if a killer perk like BBQ wasn’t properly working, it would be an easy fix.

I was about to post that, but you beat me to it.
I feel bad for the devs because no matter how much they fix in this game, people are never happy it seems. They will find a way to reel it back to “Devs only care about survivors” mentality.
