New end game Ruin will actually cleanse potato survivors from red ranks. Bravo BHVR
Reposted per a mod, apparently it was incorrectly merged.
Ive now played 10 survivor matches and the matches go so quick, you barely get a chance to black pip. The Blendettes who urban around and hide all game will stop pipping and drop down in lower ranks where they belong. Red ranks should be full of decent survivors who can knock out gens and run a killer a little, as it should.
Those poor killers though 😬

You get less of a chance to do anything. One good chase can wipe out three gens. Killers are getting 3-4 hooks maximum. I’ve also been watching streamers, some of them have actually started seeking out the killer to initiate a chase just to get points.

The OP is saying that anyone who they deem 'immersed' (uses stealth) will be constantly be depipping, because matches go so fast that they won't have time to do anything else if they spend time stealthing. Whereas players like the OP will black pip, and the immersed survivors will only derank, effectively booting stealth gameplay out of high ranks.

New ruin is trash. I would pick monsterous shrine or territorial imperative in a bloodweb before this garbage. It gets cleansed before you get any value. If the devs are indeed removing the band-aid to see the wound, how long is it gonna take bring balance. How many rank 15 killers are gonna face a red rank SWFs because nobody wants to play killer.

What? I could never really stay in red ranks before because of ruin. Now I am pipping far more often, I hit red rank 1 for the first time today because of it even.

I don’t think you understand that it’s now a late game perk, it’s insidious, the survivors won’t even know you have it until they’re dead.

Idk, for some reason when I spawn into a trial my Hex: Ruin perk is always blank. Even more weird I find some broken bones near where the survivors spawned when I get over there.

So.. stealth isn't a skill? This is one of the playstyle of survivors, and you shouldn't call them potatoes
Sure, they may not last long in chase, but they avoid the chase to give killers fewer chance to apply pressure. Yeah, they get fewer points than you, but that doesn't mean anything since the game didn't account the fact you avoided the chase
IMO every playstyle is good as long as it works

Depends on your definition of stealth.
Sneaking past a killer who came to check on a gen you’re working, nice. Losing a killer in a chase by breaking LOS and leaving no scratch marks, clever girl.
Urbaning on the outside of the map while someone is hooked, waiting for them to die? Trash. Hiding all game doing nothing while everyone else does gens and takes chases etc? Doodoo. Have you ever seen VincentVega play Scaredette? Imagine even worse than that because he’ll at least make somewhat risky hook saves etc.

The type of stealth being referred to here is the one that gets your teammates killed while you most likely get the hatch having touched a gen for all of 5 seconds and been chased zero times.

As a survivor I'm going to hate when ruin is changed for xbox. I like longer games, I find them way more fun. I see a lot of depips or black pips coming in the future because of no time to do anything

Your entire post is invalidated by the fact that it's a hex perk, and those are usually gone 60 seconds into a game. If it wasn't a hex perk, I'd agree with you 100%. It being a hex makes it beyond worthless, and the designers of this change should be ashamed of themselves.

I honestly think it needs to be harder to hit red ranks as survivor. I'm red rank and quite frankly I'm terrible. Boosted AF, as the kids would say. Red ranks is just too easy to hit. I've seen a lot of red rank killers that never used Ruin and they still wiped the floor with us in a 4 stack swf.
