Total rewards for the full season. 650,000 BP, 6500 shards. Make ranking up worth it.
Reward for keeping rank one. Gain 100 premium currency every 5 games rank one is kept.

The first part, maybe. But the second one? I think you overestimate the rank.

I agree. First part, maybe. Second part, never happen because the devs would lose money on it.
My thought was offer exclusive skins to both sides for rank one and maybe extend the seasons because, after awhile, bloodpoints and shards mean less.1 -

Skins might be to much. Remember, we are talking about BHVR. Where half the add-ons got reused on a new killer.
