Balanced Landing
Does anybody else think that balanced landing needs a buff? Let me explain, I was in a match with legion (red forest) and I jumped off the second story expecting to make some distance between us but no, Legion caught up to me too fast with his ability, and so okay I get this, he needs to be fast. A couple matches later i did balanced landing against a Michael and once again it didn't even help, probably only like 1 second worth of more time. Some of the killers are either too fast or balanced landing is too slow.

BL is apparently a stealth perk now lol

How long have you been playing the game? As if you're still new to the game you shouldn't be calling for nerfs, as when you're new everything seems overpowered or under powered.
When I was new I thought Adrenaline was under powered because I didn't understand how it worked.
From your post you seem to be using balance landing wrong. It sounds like you're using balance landing and running into dead zones. Exhaustion perks like balance landing are used to get to the next window or pallet, that you may not have got to without using that perk.
When you're being chased by the killer you should always have a chase route planned, rather then just running aimlessly.
On a side note I do believe balance needs a buff, but not in the way you described. I personally think old balance landing should come back, as it's currently one of the worst exhaustion perks in the game in my opinion (I use to balance all the time before it's nerf).

Balance landing is still a good perk, just not as good as other exhaustion perks. Do you think it's better then sprint burst, dead hard, and Adrenaline?
Yes, balance landing was one of the best exhaustion perks in the game, it was my favourite perk ever since I first got to red ranks in 2018 before it's nerf.
Before the balance landing nerf I didn't use to mind playing on Hawkins, as my balance landing made up for how strong it was for the killer. Hawkins is now one of my least favourite maps to play on as survivor (not keen on Hawkins as killer either as I'm a Hillbilly main).
I play at red ranks on both sides (currently more as killer).

It's not going to work in every situation. I've used it at times just a little too late and they were able to get me as we both dropped out the window. Just try using it a little bit earlier than you'd like and you should be able to get the most out of it. At least for me, it's worked every time, unlike Dead Hard.

Legion is fast when using his ability, but he can't down you with it.
Most killers have a faster movement speed than survivors. Balanced only gives you a speed boost for 3 seconds, so it's not a free escape ability, but it should hopefully get you to someplace safer. If you just run in a straight line, they will catch up.
It also reduces your stagger time from landing. You have to look at the balance of the perk compared to not having it, not compared to what the killer is able to do. It's still one of the better perks in the game.

As long as maps such as lampkin lane and hawkins don't get reworked I can guarantee you old balance ain't coming back lmfao

I give you Haddonfield, but Haddonfield is still is broken even with the balance landing nerf. It's just one massive loop for good survivors, the killer can't really do much about it.
Hawkins was still killer sided even with old balance landing.
My opinion on balance landing, is that it was the maps that needed changing not the perk. Then again I haven't been a fan of the recent maps.
EDIT: The main part of my post was that new players shouldn't be calling for nerfs until they understand the game. my opinion on balance landing was just a side note. I mentioned it was just my opinion.

No.
No exhaustion perk deserves two effects.
BL is OP in it's current state.
The devs talk about consistency with killer perks but this survivor perk is very inconsistent.
