Kill Switch update: The issue affecting Baermar Uraz's Ugly Sweater has been fixed and the cosmetic has been reenabled in all queues with this update.

What is your level of frustration with this game right now?

I have such a love hate relationship with this game. I stick with it cause I’m such a horror survival fanatic and on good days it can be such a blast. However, my frustration lately is through the roof more now than ever. I played a whole bunch of solo survivor matches today and here’s a list:

  1. Several killer dcns (after long wait to get into a lobby)
  2. Several survivor dcns at start
  3. Dead Hard not working consistently
  4. Killer hits registering way off
  5. Got tunneled & mori killed 3x
  6. Killer let me almost bleed out completely. She stayed with me & let others fix gens until exit gates were powered so she could get her rancor kill. Disgusting.
  7. More boring slugging matches.
  8. DS not working against Doctor (he tunneled me out of the game at start and DS of course didn’t work).

I tried to stay positive thinking fun matches were going to come, but they didn’t. Time to take a week off and hope it’s better when I play again. I hope other people are having better matches.

I was having a really bad time, and the only good time was when I was playing survivor, especially when I played survivor with Friends. We have started a new trend: Anytime we get onto the Lery's map, if any of us brought in Med-Kits we would bring them to Moo Moo as get well gifts, and if we found any Med-Kits on the map, we brought them to Moo Moo as get well gifts.

Otherwise I have been having lots of fun playing NOED Blood Warden, Ebony Mori - Clown. Suddenly the constant toxicity and hate you get from players becomes comedic when you are intentionally ruining the game for them.

That's a note to all killers. The game becomes more fun when you run broken builds, and don't care about what those broken builds will do to your score. The hate becomes funny as all survivors start to look like this guy as you read the end game chat:

I used to be a survivor main, but since the ruin nerf, everytime I hit a great skill check I feel that the game will not last longer than the time I spent waiting to get into a game and holding M1 to hit regular skill checks is boring and less challenging than trying to avoid the old regression penalty.

I'm still having some fun playing top tier killers and using moris tho.

Honestly same, this is one of my favorite games but between crappy teammates, tunneling killers and everything in between.. a break is always welcome lol.

It's pretty low for me at the moment. I do tend to play more of the actual viable killers though. But I'm having a lot of fun. The only real frustration I feel is when the bugged sound screws over my match, though I do feel like it has improved with the latest patch a bit.

But I really wish the rank system was better, matchmaking was fixed and the rank reset changes from a fewpatches ago were reverted.

I mostly play survivor now and killer only for dailies (or if for some reason I just decide I hate myself that day). No point getting super competitive in this game since it's kind of a massive joke. Just get your points and peace out. If you survive/kill anyone, consider it a bonus. Setting either of those things as expectations will turn this game into the shittiest experience you could ever have.
