How Could Chucky Fit Into Dead by Daylight?
In case you haven't been keeping up with the news, Child's Play is going to get its own tv show soon. Plus it got its remake recently. This means the franchise would get bigger and bigger, and such demand for the doll being a killer in the game is inevitable.
The Dead by Daylight devs target popular killers to boost their, and I've made a discussion like this before, so in short: Notice how we see iconic popular killers like Freddy and Michael but don't see less popular ones like The Strangers and such? Yeah, with Chucky getting his own tv series I'm sure the devs going to want him in their game to make it more known. Not to mention he's always been iconic.
But how? I've seen a lot of ideas for this little doll to be in this game, but only a few were halfway decent. Basically, it's hard to make him work. So how could and would it fit? Well, I have an idea.
It's kind of easy. Have everything a chapter would have EXCEPT for the killer. I know, this kinda sucks, but it's better than nothing. So we'll have 2 different survivors:
-Karen Barclay (Andy's strong mom)
-Detective Mike Norris
Now for the different variation of maps: They all take place in the same city only with different buildings in the movies as main buildings in the match.
-Karen's apartment
-the Toy Store "Chucky" died in
-Karen's Jewelry workplace
-Police Station
-The Good Guy Factory
In case you're confused, all these main buildings won't be in one map at once.
Basically, that's the only way how a Child's Play chapter would work, in my opinion.

How would chucky hook survivors? Picture that. They could have little ladders next to the hooks but that seems more funny than scary. Lol

I don't think it would be a good idea, he is just too small and would make many mechanics just look silly.

Lol so many people who didn't read the post
I don't think the devs would do that cause the big sell point of a chapter is often the killer
I don't think Chucky would be that hard to make work tbh. If you ever played Ghostface crouched only it isn't that bad most of the time
And he could use voodoo to carry and hook survivors. He made people float in the movies sometimes. The later ones atleast

Haha you’re right. They just ASSUMED what I put.
Anyhow,I guess you’re right, Ghost Face gets very low and I guess that’s the same size as the doll, and I’ve seen many ideas about using voodoo dolls to carry survivors to hooks and such and they’ll just float, and I think that could work.
But everything else has to be taken into consideration, like locker grabs and such...
By the way, thank you for reading.
