Hang in there. They're on the 2nd-3rd month of looking into it. Band-aid should arrive in about 8 more cosmetic drops and a chapter or two.

Lol, while baby rank 20 killers consistently get rank 1-8 survivors. In fact, once you hit green rank for killers you almost ways have red or lower purple rank survivors.

That's when they start sharing images of hockey masks across social media to draw in more new players to cover for the vets who finally gave up and quit. They'll declare matchmaking is and has been working as intended, and it's all been part of their master plan to place low ranks vs high ranks in order to give them a challenge and play better, and if we don't like it, we can just feel free to miss out on the limited edition Rift swag and go play Civilization.

when i wrote this post i just got out of the match and was pissed, but at least my next match after that was a nice and calm farming killer, so at least i was able to cool down.

No, it has no limits. They said that was how it was supposed to work but it’s not. Even then, if it was working as intended it should only be 3 up and down at the most.

I get red rank killers when I'm rank 6-7 survivor all the time, even before the matchmaking issues, as for rank 14-16 he could be swf with someone. The skill gap is not that high between red and purple when it comes to killers

If the devs just remove players ranking numbers from the end screen lobby (so players can't see other players ranks), then the issue will be solved right? ;)

Supposedly they plan to fix matchmaker....I don't believe them. I think they might eventually fix the bug causing people to get matches way out of their +6 ranges but I doubt they will actually fix the more extreme problems with the system itself.

yay i just got a rank 11 killer who obviously plays like a rank 1 as spirit, and i and the rest of the team was rank 1-4, pretty good job so far
