Which killer has the most evil origin story (not including licensed characters)?
So which killer do you believe was the most evil before they were taken by the entity? I'm not including licensed characters in this discussion as Freddy and Myers would probably be the most obvious winner.
For me I think the Doctor and the Clown were the most evil and sadistic before they were taken by the entity. The Oni, Frank (The Legion), and Ghostface were evil as well but in my opinion not on the level of Clown and the Doctor.
The Hillbilly was more due to neglect and an abusive upbringing.
The Nurse and the Huntress did terrible things but I think it was due to their mental health then anything.
I wouldn't class the Wraith, the Hag, the Spirit, the Plague as, they were just victims of unfortunate events.
I don't know about the Trapper, he killed a lot of people but he was heavily influenced by his father.

Herman was a literal torturer, and did unsanctioned experiments on unwilling participants in relation to mind control. I'd say that HE is the worst.
Kennith simply killed people and took their fingers after gassing them. Still a little bit of torture, but nothing in relation to Herman.

Sally just snapped after DECADES of workplace abuse. Most realistic story, yes, but not horrific. Just tragic.
Anna is just an 8yro girl (mentally......) who's just trying to survive and protect other little girls.
Phillip is just wrong place, wrong time, Lisa just resorted to dark magic in a desperate time, Rin was literally a victim, Adiris was just unfortunate.
Evan is an interesting one, though. Throughout his Archives, we see him slowly being moulded by his father's actions. I haven't finished them all at time of writing, but I'm most of the way through. It doesn't seem like he's overly evil, but overly strict and cruel by demanding too much for too little.

Yeah I would say Herman is the worst, with the Clown in second place. I've watched Herman's archive video, I couldn't watch the majority of it.
With Evan I always got the impression that he was just a young man trying to please his father who he idolized. Although in his background story it implies that Evan lead about hundred miners into the mine, before he detonated explosives causing the mine to collapse, due to his father requesting him to do it.
