As the title says...

Name: Rafael Rodriguez

Gender: Male

Age: 68

Background: Rafael Rodriguez was born in the state of Sonora, Mexico, and raised in New Mexico and is a military veteran of the United States military.

Perks:

"Plan Ahead" The auras of totems within 64/96/128 meters are revealed to you, but you cleanse totems 15% slower

"Intel" Makeshift a trap on a window. When the killer goes through the window, they become stunned for 5 seconds (affected by Enduring) and reveal their location to you for 3 seconds. Intel has a cooldown of 80/70/60 seconds. Windows can only have one trap and can only be trapped once. You can see windows that have been trapped.

"Field Medic" You recover dying survivors 60/70/80% faster. When you are in the dying state, you recover 20/25/30% slower by yourself.

Rafael Rodriguez has perks that are great, but are risky to use.

"Plan Ahead" would be OP. Hex perks would have be immune from it. You can't have a perk that negates a killers perk completely. It should only counter it, not render it non existent.

"Intel" - No. Survivors already have advantages at windows. This is too much. In order for this to be balanced, it would have to be like the old OoO days, where regardless if more than one person had it, only one person could actually use it.

    Field Medic is actually okay.

Other than that, he sounds like a Hispanic version of Bill.

Not to be rude, the perks are creative and different but why does it have negative factors? Imagine having Fixated “Walk 20% faster but run 20% slower”, it’s a bit random.

Having some risk to the perks - by having some risk to it makes it more rewarding I feel like.

Intel is busted everyone will just set it on either shack window or God window

Revealing totem auras is a pretty rare thing, atm only possible in a small radius and/or for a short time. The first perk is just too strong also with its downside. 15% is nothing.

Stun effects most likely result in an exhaustion perk. Make the cooldown into the exhaustion debuff. 5 seconds are too long. Why should enduring work here? Why the aura reveal? Stunning the killer with other things than pallets should have some more conditions than just vaulting a window. So I would implement a time to set the trap and when the trap vanishes. Maybe a more interesting idea would me something similiar to bambozle but just for survivors. The window gets blocked for the killer for 3 seconds after a fast vault by the surv in a chase and you get exhausted.

I like the idea of field medic. But the numbers seem off

Plan ahead should do visual notifications when any survivor goes down, not constant auras.

Intel should stun the survivor as well, and have a 120 sec cooldown. Also reduce stun to 3 sec.

    Field Medic seems fine.

Okay but can they be female instead? We don't have any older ladies.

That’s not too long. I think any stun at minimum should be 5 seconds because it allows the survivor to... well you know.... survive? This game relies too much on juking and jiving The killer and the map is too small as it is. There needs to be better options for hiding and/or stunning.

In Friday 13th you can actually kill the killer. You can actually stun him. Why is it that the killer gets to walk around slaying people in rapid succession in this game? That doesn’t seem right. Makes the game more fun for the mouse to actually escape the cat sometimes. 5 noisy generators that take a year to repair and then when you get caught you die because the guy just sits there and watches you on the hook until the entity consumes your soul. I think it’s a little ridiculous.

I can’t tell you how many times I spawned in looking at the killer after waiting 5 hours to find a playable lobby. In and out , in and out of games I go just to wait for a game where the host or all my teammates don’t die and disconnect

Within the first moments of spawning in

Yeah some of them are. At least in the sense that I shouldn’t encounter the killer 5 seconds into the game after using an offering that spawns me the farthest away from the killer 😂

He was legit right in my face as soon as I spawn in. Then you get Tunnel camped 😂 nahhh that’s bs. I’m sorry you gotta fix that. Put the killer somewhere off the map. Make him come down from the top of a hill or something lol

Thats a spawning problem, not a map size problem. The majority of balance issues right now come down to map size being too large for the majority of killers basekits.

I feel like the slow down is nessasary to not just shut down hexs completely and 15% is not that big of a slowdown.

I disagree you about Plan Ahead because it doesn't only show lit totems. I think the slow down could be a bit bigger but I do t think this perk completely shuts down hexes.
