Kill Switch update: We have temporarily disabled The Artist in the Event queue while we work to fix an issue causing players' game to crash. The Artist will be re-enabled once the issue is fixed.

TOTH QOL change

Options

I've been using Trill of the hunt an increased amount with my Nurse since I've been having a lot of fun and success with devour hope. However, I've also been playing a lot of The Pig, and using Tinkerer to notify me when a generator is about to pop so I can make a call on a reverse beartrap or not.

And it got me thinking a bit about the notifications.

If tinkerer procs, the notification is a subtle red highlight of the generator that's about to be completed. It obviously helps discern between failed survivor skill-checks and tinkerer procs.

Do you think we could do the same for TOTH, since totem auras are small and difficult to see, and the notification is the same as a failed survivor skill-check? Would be a nice QOL change if it was a small red highlight of the totem similar to tinkerer, because I often don't recognize it's my totem over something else until it's been too late.

Tell me what you think, or if I just need to git gud :chuffed:

Personally, I'd prefer a different sound for non-skillcheck notifications. A visual would be nice too, but a different sound would let you know that you might want to pay attention to this alert.

I don't often use Hex perks. I'll occasionally do an all-Hex Hag just for kicks, but I generally prefer perks that can't be destroyed. When I do use them, I often ignore the sound mid-chase because I think it's a failed skillcheck.
