Killer: The Pyromaniac
Shirley Greenwood grew up an orphan in the 1950's. She was just days old when she was given to the orphanage, no one thought to see the mysterious woman's face as she left the baby in a nearby trashcan, hoping to never take care for such a responsibility. The town Shirley lived in was a quiet town in a fairly rural area. The other kids never cared for Shirley, they were afraid she was a monster as she was found in garbage and was always a little off.

Since social skills wasn't her main focus, she loved fingerpainting on an old apple cart that has since been there for over a decade, she painted the things she thought was beautiful: Flowers, wheat, and cows was the thing she loved the most about her little home. She would usually do favors for the townspeople for little money and she would save it all for bright acrylic paints at a nearby art shop not far from her orphanage.

On one clear afternoon, she was doing her daily walk to the apple cart when she stumbled upon a box of fallen matches. Curious, she picked them up and pulled out a single match, she approached a dark broken board from the cart, Shirley struck the match and a small little flame was created. She had never seen something so pretty before, there was something about the fire that she found amazing. The way the flame swayed calmly and glowed peacefully was almost mind numbingly stunning to watch. Shirley touched the match and then dropped it and the match went dark, she was confused, how can something so beautiful disappear so easily and fast?

Shirley wanted to see more, so instead of paints, she bought another box of matches. That late night she snuck out of her orphanage, as it was easy to do so, approaching the cart, she grasped a match, struck it and threw it. The apple cart burned brilliantly faster than she thought, she watched as her years of painting cute and creative picture turned into soot, it was worth it, a little painful to watch, but she though to herself that everyone has to change at some point in their life, and this was the time for her to do so.

After a few years flew by, Shirley was older and smarter. She went outside more to find more things to burn and places to explore, the orphanage owner was worried about her odd behavior. Shirley wasn't very kind to anyone anymore, she snuck out and broke more and more rules as the months flew by, so she forbade her from going at night in hopes that she would be her old self again, she remembered to lock her bedroom door. Shirley wasn't happy by this, she paced around her room, She needed to calm down, she grabbed a spare match and lit it, as always, she was peaceful just by staring. A knock on the door came, which startled her causing her to drop the match on her bed, the fire started to spread over her sheets and on to the boards. Terrified she banged and smashed at the door to escape, the orphanage owner unlocked it, she was confused to see an adrenaline rushed Shirley running down the halls, but was horrified to see a blazing bedroom.

Shirley ran into the wheat field and watched her home emit smoke and light. People ran out of the building screaming, while townsfolk ran out of their homes to see the commotion. Shirley knew that not everyone would survive her mistake, the thought of what the consequences of her incident terrified her, so she ran away.

She spent difficult months hiding from people, she ate from orchards and lived in abandoned farming buildings. She entered one building that looked it used to be for war. As she was in it she found an interesting thing, it looked like a strange hose like piece connected to a heavy tank. She put the contraption on and tried using it after awhile, she got it to spit out a stream of fire, this was beyond her imagination to create so much fire in such a matter of seconds.

Shirley was scared that people will find her and hurt her, but that was the past, it's time to fight back, it's time to to stop running away, it's time to take control.
