Oni is top 3 killer change my mind

He does everything. His map pressure is deadlier than billy, his chases are more onesided than nurse, his slugging is a great slowdown on the match, 90% of his add ons are good, not add on dependent, and he is just an extremely powerful killer.

The worse part of him is early game but that doesnt matter because his mid and late game prowess is off the charts. I believe he is just barely under nurse and is safely the second or maybe 3rd best killer in the game.

Heck, he even somewhat counters gen rushing because his power gets better the more people nearby

He is good, the change made was good. but i dont feel he is top 3, he`s very loud and loopable, sure his ability is strong but he needs to get it, and against good loopers he will struggle to get that power. he is also very loud to hear and see from across the map. he is good but once again he prays more on those weaker survivors, luckily alot of red ranks are weak now but i dont think hes top 3. of course its your opinion and its nice to see other killers get love but this was my opinion

but billy is trash... sigh these ranks have ruined everyones concept of skill. i see rank 2`s that are terrified of the terror radius and hide most of the game, they miss skill checks, the cant lead on a chase and go down in like 10seconds. any killer can do that, billy isnt strong against good players. i havent been hit by a billy chainsaw in like a year... hes over rated

Too weak in early game. A decent amount of survivors can easily loop a pure M1 killer, denying you any hit.

Which is why perks like M&A help him out a bit. His true charm is mid and late game where everyone is grouping up and injured trying to get gens done. Even the devs say that 1 to 2 gens should be done early on. Once he gets his foot in the door the oni can and will be deadly. 2-3 downs per power means you have caused sooo much damage it just snowballs from there. If an oni is looped for more than 2 gens without a hit it is just the killers skill that sucks there tbh.

he is sorta loud but his TR music ain't, which means with M&A he can catch a survivor off guard pretty easily ensuring his first hit. Yes he is loopable but that is only if he is being looped. The oni can down the survivor before they even get to a loop 9/10 times and even when he is being looped he can always leave and grab a slug or something. Oni does not have to loop like other killers due to him getting to the survivor before they reach a loop.

Nah, Billy is still in holy trinity (Spirit, Nurse, Hillbilly)

-Billy doesn't have to set up his power like Oni, so he basically has his power for free.

-Oni is still loopable like Billy and basically M1 killer like Billy if survivors actually know what to do.

-The only thing I can think of that sets Oni away from Billy is ability to track survivors by trail of blood that survivors leave behind, but he needs to hit them in first place.

not top 3, but he is up there with the better killers.

the top 3 are very hard to beath though, oni wont be ablt to hold up with them.

    3) Hillbilly - basically Oni, but without a limited power that needs to get charged up first. he is basically superior to him in every way.

    2) Spirit - her chase potential is immense, she can easily catch out and take down even experienced loopers, which Oni struggles with. her map pressure is also really good - though i'd say Oni has the upper hand here. still, her potential chase ability boost her far above him. map pressure alone wont win you games.

    1) Nurse - even though her map pressure got reduced, she still surpasses his imo. she doesnt have to charge it first and can just blink around all the time, gaining big distances very quickly. Her chase potential is also unmatched. she can literally ignore all defenses survivors have against killers, which alone is enough to move her to rank 1.

He is the king of slugging, which is pretty much needed to beat good teams. Maybe not top 3, but top 5, sure.

Hawkins and Lerry's want a word with you. He is strong with the recent ruin nerf but does need early pressure to get his power up or hes going to have a bad time. Small maps with alot of obstacles can make him an M1 killer.
