Oni's Ultra Rares Suck
Renjiro's Bloody Glove
- All Survivors can see Blood Orbs.
- A Survivor's Aura is revealed for 2 seconds whenever they come into contact with a Blood Orb, absorbing it in the process.
- This effect stacks for each Blood Orb absorbed.
Blood orbs already show you where survivors are by drawing a path of where they are moving. Anytime they do something as simple as vaulting a window, more blood orbs are dropped to inform you of this. If a survivor manages to juke you, the orbs auras are visible through walls.
This add-on is actually detrimental if you equip it, as it allows the survivors to take away your power while giving little in return.
Iridescent Family Crest
- While Blood Fury is active, missing a Demon Strike will cause all Survivors within 12 meters to scream and reveal their current location to you.
If you don't know where the survivors are, why did you even activate your power? If the entire purpose of this add-on was just to re-find a survivor after you missed an attack, why does it need to be Ultra Rare quality? The one use that I could think of is to search for some one who may be going for a flashlight save, but you could just use Infectious Fright (a perk already popular on Oni).
Are these add-ons even going to be looked at, or do the devs consider Oni completed? They are not worth using as they currently are.

They are bad, but not the worst.
Demogorgon's add-ons are better then Oni's and Nurse's at least.

Renjiro's Bloodu Gloce used to be good before Oni got his flick taken away.

The glove did not need that nerf it got, I doubt they'll revert it but alot of his addons are pretty meh just like demogorgon's.

The new patch actually brought the flick to the side back. You can 90 degree turn your hits but can't 180.
He's much better than he was right before mid chapter

Demo's Ultra Rares:
Leprose Lichen
- Reveals the Auras of all Injured Survivors while traversing the Upside Down.
While this is underwhelming, and way too weak to be an Ultra Rare, it isn't useless. This add-on looks amazing compared to Oni's Iridescent Family Crest, which has no use whatsoever.
Red Moss
- Tremendously increases the duration of the Undetectable Status Effect applied to The Demogorgon when emerging from a Portal.
- Tremendously reduces Of The Abyss Recovery cool-down after traversing the Upside Down.
While this add-on does take away some of your map control, it gives you something back in the form of a massive increase in your stealth duration. Compare this to Oni's Renjiro's Bloody Glove, which only harms you for taking it.
Demo's Ultra Rares also synergize with each other. If an injured survivor is near one of your portals, you see their exact position while also removing your terror radius for 10 seconds.
Not only are Oni's Ultra Rares complete garbage, but they don't even work together.

Iri family crest is more of a built-in Infectious Fright, but restricted to 12 meters, so you can potentially snowball anyone that were very close. Still garbage however.

Don't forget that you need to miss in order to get this Infectious Fright.
It's not something you get for successfully downing a survivor, you have to miss and hit the floor then hope some one happens to be nearby.
Even garbage can like feed raccoons or something this is just bad.

The glove looks pretty nice for tracking
The crest could use a longer range though
Overall probably the worst ultra rares in the game, but ultra rares aren't supposed to be powerful, they're supposed to be unique! Iridescent queen, tombstone, hag etc.

I think the glove is still great actually. Of course pair it with increased orbs dropped. They basically can’t heal without revealing their location, do gens, etc.
The 12 meter IF, I am not a fan of either. Funny y’all are comparing to Demogorgon when I think Pig has the least useful Iridescents of the killers.

Renjiro's Bloody Glove is fine to me. It creates a different style of play. You won't get your power as much, but you will have some insane tracking. It's basically Plagues Black Insense.
Iridescent Crest is very underwhelming though. I would prefer something like:
Moderately/Considerably decreases cooldown of missed Demon Strike attacks
or
Tremendously increases Demon Dash speed, Moderately/Considerably decreases duration of Blood Fury.
I think either of those would be pretty great.

I think this too Ultra rares are supposed to alter the killers power in a game changing way for example silent bell removed the auditory warning survivors get to stay on guard because wraith cloaks or just give their power a buff but onis are just bad I'd take demos over onis

That would probably be too OP considering his speed in blood fury. Plus, you could just farm the orbs following one injured survivor and then start killing everyone.

His base kit doesn't seem that good to me.

The reason his power is so strong even at base is because at the end of the day, addons for the most part change the time values with his power. The minute it gives at base allows for plenty of time to get multiple downs. The effectiveness of his power comes from the insane slugging that comes with his power.

His Ultra Rare Addons may not be that good. I haven't tried them out tbh. But he has other really good addons. Also he is one of the few killers who does not have to rely on addons.

His base duration is only 45 seconds and you lose 7 seconds when you down a survivor. If survivors are spread out and can stall you enough when you are in your power, you're not getting more than 1 down with your Blood Fury. That's why I feel he is lackluster without add-ons.

yeah, they sure are garbo. a lot of the recent killers have had pretty rough ultra-rare's. Even GF's arent too great

I didn't think of it like that. But now that you mention it, it kind of is.
Spend 7000 bloodpoints and use 1 of your 2 only add-on slots so the game can hold your hand after missing an attack.

They should have just made it give Oni Undetectable only while in Demon Dash and gives a location ping for all survivors outside his TR when he activates Yamaokas Wrath.
The survivors already get a global notification when he activates Yamaokas Wrath and his Demon Dash so they are given a heads up to be on the lookout as well as realizing he's using the addon quite quickly.
Boom, that easy. A strong Ultra Rare that has counter play quite easily.

That's the thing though. Spreading out doesn't really mean much against Oni because he's so mobile. Along with that he's insanely difficult to loop if the killer is good with him. His addons aren't very impactful and are mostly just small number boosts to his base.
