Perks

Perk 1: Whatever it Takes

-Helen will do whatever it takes to survive, and it shows. During a fight with her hunter, she will fight with all her might to get away. Allows for the chance to be the killer’s obsession. If the player is the obsession, after being unhooked by another survivor, the next successful attack on Helen by the killer will result in the killer being stunned for 1/2/3 seconds and Helen remaining unharmed by the attack. Whatever it takes has a cooldown time of 120/90/60 seconds and will not cooldown during a chase.

Perk 2: Leap of Faith

-In the midst of danger, Helen will risk it all. When leaping or taking a fall of any height during a chase, the fall recovery time/delay is reduced to zero and Helen will not leave any tracks/scratchmarks for the next 1/2/3 seconds. The killer will also immediately lose any bloodlust they’ve gained thus far during the chase. Leap of Faith will result in the exhausted effect and has a recovery time of 60/50/40 seconds.

Perk 3: Croaker Queen

-Helen’s influence and popularity is apparent to everyone who knows her. While within 12/18/24 meters of another survivor, Helen’s action speed is increased by 5/10/15%. If in a chase while within the required range of another survivor, Helen receives a 1/2/3% speed increase to increase survival chance over the other survivors.

Backstory:

Helen Shivers was born in 1979 in Southport, North Carolina to Mr. and Mrs. Shivers. She has one sister, Elsa. Helen was always concerned about how she looked, and was primarily focused on her hair. Whilst in school, she's befriended Julie James, Ray Bronson, and began dating Barry Cox. Helen’s dream was to move to New York City and begin a career as an actress, so she entered the 1996 Croaker Queen Pageant, and won first place.

She is one of the four primary appearing characters in I Know What You Did Last Summer portrayed by Sarah Michelle Gellar opposite Julie James, Ray Bronson and Barry Cox.

She was one of four Southport youths on the night of July 4th, 1996 to cover up the manslaughter of Benjamin Willis who survived the collision made with Barry's Beamer and ultimately subjecting her to be one of the four targets of the fisherman Benajmin Willis.

Sporting boyfriend Barry’s letter jacket, Helen celebrates her pageant win with a bonfire at the beach. Scary stories and laughter fill the night sky, everything is perfect.

Power: Unforgiving

The Fisherman is unforgiving of anyone who has wronged him, intentionally or not. This fuels his bloodlust faster and makes him eager to hunt. When a survivor is spotted within 24 meters, bloodlust immediately becomes active whether in a chase or not. During the chase, if the Fisherman attempts a lunge attack, he will burst into a short, uncontrollable 12 meter sprint in a straight line forward where he can immediately down survivors with his hook. Any survivor downed with Unforgiving will suffer from the Mangled effect while in any state of injury until healed entirely. The cooldown time for Unforgiving is 8 seconds before it can be used again while the bloodlust effect remains active until the survivor is lost.

Perks

Perk 1: Shears

-“Did the man in the slicker use his hook to chop off all your hair too?” “-no, he used scissors, #########.” Shears allows for the Fisherman to instill fear into his prey. When the Fisherman comes within 4/8/16 meters of a player while in a chase or not, they will be prompted with an immediate very difficult skill check if working they are working on a generator, healing, or cleansing a totem. A failed skill check will result in the player screaming and creating a visual queue for the killer. A good skill check will result in nothing happening, saving the survivor until the next time the killer leaves and returns within the required distance. A great skill check will save the survivor from having to do another skill check as a result of the Shears perk for the remainder of the match.

Perk 2: So Close

-She was so so so close! When the exit gates are powered, the Fisherman’s terror radius immediately goes down to 6/3/0 meters and he gains a 3/6/9% overall speed increase.

Perk 3: Love Letters

-“Did you receive a letter too?” The Fisherman leaves taunting letters for his prey before he guts them with his hook letting them know that he is watching. The Fisherman is able to see the auras of all Hex/Dull totems during the match. The Fisherman will start the match with 4 love letters in his inventory that can be placed on any Dull OR Hex totem by performing an action on the totem (One Letter may be placed per totem). The love letter cannot he seen or sensed by survivors. Immediately after a survivor cleanses a totem with a love letter on it, the killer receives a visual AND audio queue where the totem was cleansed along with the survivor’s aura anywhere on the map being revealed to the killer for 3/4/5 seconds.

NEW REALM: Eastern Shore

NEW MAP: Southport

Southport, North Carolina

This small fishing town is haunted by a vengeful fisherman and he knows what you did last summer. Southport is a LARGE map that consists of the town square with the Southport City Hall in the center of the map. The surrounding street has shops lined down each side with a well-known alleyway that surrounds the edges of the map and serves as a smaller, darker passageway between the buildings and behind them on the map. Though it is dark outside, patriotic decor including balloons, banners, flags, streamers and solo cups can be seen on buildings and laying in the street as a result of the Independence Day parade. Most of the light comes from street lights and buildings along with an active, colorful fireworks show that can be seen in the sky over the whole map. The parade can still be heard faintly at all times and the fireworks booming when outside. A few of the shops are open and can be entered, but they’re dark and no one can be found for salvation. The Shivers’ store where Helen’s family works during the day is also open with a vaultable window in the storage room upstairs that leads down onto the street below, part of the alleyway path behind the buildings. The generator in the Shivers’ store is located on the platform elevator and when fully repaired it results in the platform raising to the next level of the store and the lights inside the store coming on. (Also awards the player with a trophy/achievement for building the Shivers’ store generator and living to tell the tale).
