Give killers surrender option
Survivors can suicide on hook but as killer you have to suffer so if you get stream snipe or whatever you have to suffer why can't killer have surrender option like rainbow six?

Kind of do when the gens are done just open an exit.
If all gens aren't done then they are still at risk - keep playing and get some practice in until they decide to finish them.
When a survivor suicides on hook for whatever reason there are still four other people playing - if a killer wants to do the equivalent would be too annoying. They don't like a map or just want to grief...they can DC then like normal people.

That's not equivalent survivors can stop doing generators and hide all game has happened before.

I think it would be nice if killers could open the gates at any time to surrender. This would not enable noed, blood warden etc. obviously.

It would be a mechanic which would be abused by some for any reason they deem worthy.
Some examples
Map they don't like, Hit with a perk or item they dislike (DS, Adrenaline, flashlight), Looped, 2 gens pop quick.

I don't see the problem killer should not be forced to continue if they aren't having fun you rather have killer stand face wall or just DC? If you play rainbow six if surrender other team wins so I don't see problem if games go fast that is balance issue not killer fault what if I need to empty my bowel? Dc cause bans and afk can also plus what if I just not having fun i have to sit there until survivor choose to end game what if I want play something else cause not fun?

a surrender option was actually something the devs once talked about on stream, a "Concede" option.
But I guess they did not want killers to just give up all the time as that would totally ruin the game.
So instead of adressing why killers might want to surrender, they just straight up never gave the option.

First that's just stupid. On R6 its dumb as well and only quitters use the Surrender button.
Second, the fact that you even have that idea shows how unbalanced this game is

It's stupid that people may not be having fun and want to play something else? You make no sense my friend seem very negative if you some pro good for you but others casual play game to have fun and relax if they not have fun they shouldn't be hostage of game

But again what if I want play something else DC and afk bannable offence and with how many meta perk swf on console many games is sad unfun for me as killer so what dev want me to do? If I continue play is very stressful I'm only human

That's absurd. Why even play if you're just gonna quit? Survivors have long queue times and they dont want the game to last half as long just because they're doing good

Dc and afk bannable so killer is hostage unable to play anything else until survivor choose to end the game.

Who said anything about only survivors should be able to DC? No one should DC just play the game as it is.
Harsher DC punishsments are being worked on. We saw the capabilities of them so good luck as after 6 dc's its a 6 hour timeout which takes a while to go down or you have to play a set amount of game to remove it after the timeout.

If an emergency comes up or some itger time consuming task appears for the kikler it would be nice to concede the loss. I had a game where I got interrupted to mail off a package and when I got back the survivors were standing around me screwing around. Until I started moving. This was before EGC, i would have liked a concede button because DCing just kills their potential bp gain. Not going to touch Q times since they fluctate like when a new killer is released and such.

If thats how they plan to implement it they are going to have a rough time. I can already tell how thats going to be abused. But its better to reward not DC'ing then to punish too harshly for DC'ing. But it is BHVR, so i dont expect much from them lately.

Meh, I'll just go afk at a gate; if I'm up against the wall staring at it, the survivors can't get anything out of trying to taunt me, so they give up quickly. Once the gens are done, I open the gate and go to the other. Hopefully, I make it there before they open it and I get a few points chasing them off. In some matches, survivors actually die to the EGC because they're so determined to open that gate.
Survivors can rush through gens pretty fast, and then some will die accidentally for something stupid or some will be nice and die on purpose, but even if all you do is open the gate you at least eke a few more points out of the match.

Depends on how surrender works. But if it can be used it to prevent survivors from gaining points its gonna get used ALOT.
If theres no real penalty for it other then derank, I'd abuse it to derank back to 20 every month.
Honestly I can see people using it every time they loose... or tunneling for 2k then conceding so the stats balance

Your "solution" is not a healthy option for the game and it is outright ridiculous to want killers to have a legal DC option

The test was done last month on pc.
Hardly anyone was dcing so it worked the only issues were the false timeouts which was part of why the test was needed.
No incentive will stop someone dcing if they want too. At least stopping them from playing will mean the rest who accept the game for what it is can enjoy it more.

Stopping too many playing kills the game. People are going to DC, giving them non punitive incentive to not dc is a stronger motivator then a punitive one.
And as im typing this game crashes loading into a game. Yeah they better fix that before implementing DC penalties.

Killers shouldn't be so bad then. The Devs need to buff them. That's my solution. Not put a stupid "quit" button in the game for killers. Thats such a stupid suggestion I still dont see how you think that is good

Survivors can’t just give up. They need to be hooked, which if they visibly give up the killer may not do. Then they need to not kobe and not be pulled off before sacrificed and others seeing whats happening will try to rush the unhook.
As killer you can just open the gate and let the timer take care of the rest. Otherwise just go afk and let them do gens if you really dont want to play. Most survivors will do gens, if not I guess you could facecamp?
Theres no guaranteed way out on either side but its extremely rare the other side wont help finish the trial.

So? Survivors can already "abuse" that by suicide on hook. They do it for similar reasons too, map they don't like, killer they don't like, first one downed, bad team mates, etc....
Why should the killer not be given the same type of option, to be fair, like being able to just open the gates whenever.

That depends. If they launch the DC penalties BEFORE the matchmaker update, well...that would be a bad move.

Killer has to stay if not have fun I don't think you ever verse swf that won't do last gen on purpose you can't have if you say killer not having fun can just open gate.
Killer can only dc or afk both bannable survivor can die on hook so not same thing. Killer not hooking survivor when they give up is the 1% you can't use that to argue case if it's happen so rare

Because people have life? If not enjoy game why held hostage by game or survivor? If survivor know you can't catch them and know you given up they stay to try farm points off killer red stain instead of do final gen. Killers shouldn't be forced to risk ban or be held hostage when survivor can just kill self on hook if they not have fun this is big problem.

If survivor “gives up” sometimes the killer wont hook. Just like they often ignore afk players. Plus I’ve seen plenty of survivors try to sacrifice themselves and other survivors rush them off the hook to keep them in the game.
No ive very rarely come across a group of people that wont do a gen. if the killer is afk then some will try to get some points but otherwise ive never seen anyone intentionally ignore gens....other than claudettes that want to hide in bushes

I've already said auiciding on hook need a to be looked at many times previously.
There are too many reasons why it would be used as I stated so it legitimizes dcing as its the same scenario at the end of the day. To think adding something new which can be abused in such a way is really a strange way of thinking.
Then they look to do something about 're suicide scenario. I put forward a couple of ideas one where each stage would last at least 30s before they could do anything. Stage one you can struggle for 30s only out of 60s and stage two is automatic and you can only suicide after 30s or even less if needed
Two wrongs don't make a right and thinking about adding a new feature wuich we know can be abused in such ways should never be the case.
I doubt the DC penalties will be ready for the match making update but I can hope.
