Trying to understand match making

so im a rank 14 when i play as a survivor i get match with ppl around the same rank which is fine, but when im playing as killer i get paired with ppl which ranks range from 8-4 which i dont understand this level of play will make me better but after awhile it get frustrating at this point im happy with one kill...is this how the new match making will be

    There are lots of high rank survivors but not many high rank killers.

    So you are sent to play with the red ranks like a lamb to the slaughter, a play thing for the survivors like a kitten being taunted with a piece of string.

    If you insist on carrying on the devs have some practical hints for you. Watch some you-tubers, hook one survivor and then go searching for another or just think of yourself as a sort of  'Dungeon Master' and its your job to give the survivors a fun little adventure.
