Does badham have 5x the chance to appear than any other map?
i just keep getting badhams back to back.. now i generally don't mind the map but it does get boring to the point were i wouldn't even mind getting gideon for a change.but since badham has 5 variations does that mean it has 5x the chance to appear than any other map? and for what? a slightly different wall texture in one of the houses... wow so cool and unique amirite.

There's 5 versions of badham, so it's 5 times more likely than any specific map.
But it's the same chance of getting a macmillan map, or auto haven or corn

I think they secretly rotate maps each day/week, because I find when I start to play each day there are a few maps that are just more likely to spawn than the others.

I really wish there was an equal chance (without map offerings) to get each realm instead of every individual map.

I actually wonder how maps are chosen.
Does it just roll for a specific map, or does it go Realm -> Specific Map? Doing the latter might be more fair for 1-map realms, even if they might make the maps "overrepresented" in its own way 😄

It's most likely taking all maps into consideration since I see maps like The Game and Hawkins so much less than the stupid cornfields.

It was by theme till Huntress or Nurse came out. Each theme had an equal chance to be picked them you got a map from that theme.
But as Nurse/Huntress only had a single map to their theme, it got picked a LOT and was the most played map by far. Got stale playing the same map so many times. So it was changed to give each map an equal chance.
When it comes to Badham. 5 maps for it, so 5 chances to play there. Giving Badham the highest odds to be played out of any DbD map.

Macmillan Estate, Coldwind Farm and Autohaven Wreckers all have five maps as well. But the Badham maps are probably more similar to one another than any of the original maps.
