Is The Doctor less annoying?

To clarify, I love the Doc rework! The changes turned out to be a buff and I feel he's more viable in red ranks than ever.

However! The stated goal of the rework was to make him less "annoying" for Survivors. Was that really achieved? Static Blast is way more effective at tracking than Static Field. Reverse skill-checks were added via add-ons. Shock Therapy has longer range and feels more effective at stopping loops than before.

I just find it funny that everyone freaked out about Doc being changed in favor of Survivors, when the only change that comes close is the Snap Out of It nerf. But even that is offset by it being easier to spread Madness overall.

Anyway, just wanted to ask your thoughts - Do you find him less frustrating to play against?

Yes. His Static Blast has counters. The Static Field automatically revealed you. Overall I think BHVR did a good job with him. He's not really irritating to face anymore. And he's a bit stronger killer now.

Is it more fun playing and learning how to play the Doctor? Yes! It actually litterally became easier.

(I played Doctor on stream and I hot my first Merciless [with 1 or 2 perks of his..] with 4 iridescents)

Is it fun for survivor? No. Definitely not.

He is the most annoying character in the game he could camp 3 close by gens and you progress through madness 5× as fast as before. But... it also comes with the less annoying side. You NEVER stay at madness 2. You reset back at madness 1 once Madness 3 is cleansed. Which is the best thing as survivor.

So I guess it depends on the situation. But to answer nonbiased, he can be annoying for survivors but he is fun to play as.
