The Archives and Dcing.
Not sure if anyone has made a topic of this or have mentioned it, but i don't think it is right or fair for either killer or surv to get punished on their challenge due to a DC. I struggle at times on the archives because i am pants, even at red ranks i can beuseless lol (how can she be pants if she is at red ranks) ask @GrootDude he will say lol My point is as this happened to me today, it was the end of the match, ready to do the doors and the killer decides to dc because they haven't had a very good game. But it wasn't fair the fact even though the dc is an escape (you get points etc) it actually isn't, so i wasn't able to advance on the rift because of them. I think it isn't fair for killers too with survs just dcing and the killer can't advance either, any thoughts on this? should the dc be counted forth to advance on the archive?

Yeah. The tome is extremely frustrating. Especially the ones that are just blatantly "play this amount of games". Ah yes, I cannot wait to play 5 games of Survivor and get a silver chaser emblem. That challenge took over an hour, AND I WAS USING OBJECT OF OBSESSION.
I have completed all the challenges, but only after 3 days straight of playing. I assume people with jobs and families don't have that kind of time.

Dcs should count in my opinion.

And also count as a BBQ stack if a survivor DC"s.

Same, but DC's should be more punished, at least on console, I can't speak for PC

Agrees, and even with the time it can take longer due to DC's, my kill 10 surv you would think would be easy but it took me forever, and if every game you are getting DCs or more then one it's annoying.

DCs ruin it too, but what I really hate is when the game just doesn't count your match. When I was trying to get the 5-silver evader emblems done, it just didn't count my first match, which I had a gold evader emblem in. Overall I had to play 7 matches (each taking 15-20 minutes) because it didn't count my first match, and one of them the Killer DC'd.
At least we can hope to never have that 4-man basement sacrifice challenge ever again.

"I knew you were doing the x challenge, that's why I DCd."
I find it astonishing that people could be so toxic that they would throw their own bloodpoints away simply to stop a player they have never met from finishing a challenge.
I think this will continue until DCs are simply counted where possible so that if a player wants to prevent another from getting a challenge, staying in the game is the best way to achieve that goal. The "sacrifice 4 players in the basement" challenge should have been "sacrifice all active players in the basement". Then the DC would count towards the challenge and discourage DCs.

Think about what you are asking here, a DC means you just get whatever objective from the archive or daily you were trying to get?
So if a killer DC's they are like Santa and just give the survivors everything they were trying for in 1 game?

I find too many people dcing when someone is doing an escape challenge or the rancor challenge is a good example, so yes, I think they should count.

Yes! It took me 3 games just to do the hook 5 survivors in one match challenge. Because they didn't want to go against Doc

Think about if if the roles are reversed, the same thing, but when people are trying and trying and people keep dcing, it is annoying as it takes forever to get an archieve mission done. Is it fair that someone should loose even just one kill towards the kill 10 survs by any means, because someone dcs and denys them?
