Lobby Dodging VS Disconnecting in match (would love a Dev response)

It’s a free country. If I don’t want to play against a sweaty gen rushing swf group with flashlights, Im not! Could care less about your wait time. I bought my game, the developers don’t pay me to babysit clowns! Oh well!

I’ll start disconnecting during loading it will be quicker for me to get into the game and another lobby than it will be for them to load into the match I left and to find another game. I like that more than lobby dodging.

Got some interesting replies and some ridiculous replies. Got some replies from people that I will have to assume believe themselves to be mind readers and a lot of replies I think were just intentionally disingenuous. Some replies I feel confident were nothing but bait just trying to argue. Got replies from people that think name calling is an effective debate tactic as well as replies from people devoid of all logic. Then there were those few replies from people I appreciate. The ones that actually want to have a discussion and present ideas.
Some of you presented some legit reasons I hadn't thought of for lobby dodging. My thanks to those of you that participated in a rational discussion. There aren't many here on this forum, but I always learn new things and see new perspectives when I cut through the 95% of people on here that have no desire to be rational.

Why is it that at my rank, someone is bringing a key every other game? But God forbid I bring a mori to compensate and, surprise surprise, "Match Cancelled" because someone DC'd after they saw the offering. Why should they feel like they no longer have to commit to the game because they suddenly don't like what they are playing against but I just have to deal with it?

Same. I’ve had bad experiences with some players and the way they play. They’ve just made my games terrible with the way they’ve played. Those rounds are few a far between though.
I CAN play sweaty and bring in a mori and powerful add-ons and make their game miserable but I’d rather just dodge and find another group.
I only have about 5-10 players that I’ll dodge.

I've noticed certain lobbies have green ping on PS4 and some have Red Ping. I typically dodge anything over 120 to 140 Ping. That's within acceptable parameters for me. While I normally have green ping on other games sitting around 60 to 80. I've come to the conclusion it's a dedicated servers thing.
I have recently messaged survivors afterwards who were a 4 man SWF who thought I was lag switching until even as they said "pallets took time to fall or respond" and they realized it was the match itself.
I don't think Lobby Dodging should be penalized. The fact is there is many variables for a killer to look at when he gets into a lobby. Survivors are not supposed to see a killer. While the killer is supposed to see survivors so he can adjust his build based on what he wants or leave if he realizes it's not a fair or fun match.

For majority of "lobby dodge" killers the main issue is three or more SWF.
Especially fun to play against four red rank SWF with voice advantage as green/purple rank killer.

The more appropriate statement should be that you're looking into opening up lobbies for survivor to see who the killer is. That's where the real bias is created here. OP could have worded it differently, but your answer is no better.
