Rank 13 easy, rank 12 hard

I was watching another player on the cusp of green ranks and I noticed something very interesting.

  • When they were at rank 13, the games were balanced with similar ranks and the player easily won and ranked up to 12
  • When they were rank 12, the games were mostly against all red rank survivors with a couple of rank 5s and 6s thrown in. The player lost, went back to rank 13 and the cycle continued.

We know that there are match making issues, but has anyone else noticed a pattern like this?

    I've been bouncing between 12 and 13 for this ranking period on Killer. All my matches are about the same no matter which Rank I'm at. Groups of Red/Purple/Green Survivors mostly. Purple is the most frequent. Very rarely I get a full group of Yellow/Green Survivors. Had the occasional Brown in there, which was the worst part because they were obviously newer and not used to the game.
