I first want to preface this by saying the art team does a great job and the last thing I want is to diss their hard work.
I love Nancy’s new outfit (at last! A cute skirt! AND it’s pink!!) but that hair...hoo boy. Barbara did not die so that cute, stylish, youthful Nancy could cosplay the principal’s assistant in Grease (1978.) I wish the curls had some bounce and movement to them. I think the art team does a really good job creating nice and interesting skins but that hair would be so much better if it was just a little more youthful looking.

The art team is different than the game design team.
I know it’s not super important, but Nancy got done just a little dirty with that hair.

Are you complaining about the actual hair style or the way it bounces also it’s kinda clear that they are probably trying to make people forget that technically this character is like 18 because I doubt they want to be known as the game where you kill kids

Well she’s already aging out of her teen years since the last season was all about her having a job as a journalist. And there’s a huge difference between making someone look slightly older and like a 45 year old woman.
The lack of bounce and the way the hair lays on her head makes her look like something died and the Hag offered to do her hair with it. If the hair had bounce and if some curls hung loose by her face like it does in the show, she would look so much better.

The thing is creating curls in mesh is hard, but I think the proportions seem wrong.
The Actual hair from the show doesn’t have that much volume, as her hair is thin.

I don't actually mind the hair model that much
However I'm really not a fan of how it looks green in game.
So after digging around I found that the texture itself is this awful yellow green color
Why?? Her hair is CLEARLY not yellow green
So I took it into Photoshop and literally in 5 seconds instantly improved it. Who decided that the color those used was acceptable?

You’re so right! I have all her outfits and every other hair is a similar shade of brown except this yucky yellowy green one. I think this combined with the other factors does her no favors.

I don't want to hate on the artists either, but it seems like with every release of cosmetics for Steven and Nancy. Steve get's to be awesome, and then Nancy get's the stick. Like I even find her model completely disproportionate. Does she even have a belly button? She's pulling a big Steve Urkle and just straight up doesn't have a mid section.
Except the Leather Jacket cosmetics, those look great.

I'd rather the art team stop trying to address balancing personally. Stay at your own side of the office please.
If the artists are now modifying core game code, no wonder there are so many bugs!

Nancy’s actress, Natalia Dyer, is much more pretty in the show than in the game. The most annoying part about it is, they managed to NAIL Steve’s look so well; and Nancy’s body language is too stiff and her shoulders are far too broad for my taste.

That is such a precious photo of her. But yeah, I agree even though I still like her in dbd. It’s like they modeled her off a photo of Natalia instead of scanning her.
