Exit Gates
Who's smart idea was it to place the exit gates next to each other on most maps? That's like placing a McDonalds a block down from another McDonalds, stupid. The exit gates should not be close enough to where the killer can stand in between them and watch. Makes no sense at all. Especially since killers have free range and have found the hatch by the time they get down to the last two survivors if it's spawned by then. I've seen killers go back and forth between two downed survivors picking them up and dropping them inch by inch across the map to where the hatch is so that they can get to the hatch before the survivor does. I know cause I was trying to help them back up without getting slugged. Like literally following them. It just doesn't seem logical to me. No one's back door is by their front (if someone makes some ######### anatomy joke I'm going to scream).

So the killer has a chance to catch someone lol ?

It's randomized, that's just bad luck, and by what you're writting I guess the killer closed the hatch on you as last survivor or you were playing solo? Cause if you're a SWF you can open those no problem with 3+ survivors alive

? The whole game is the killer catching someone? Lol. Um but thanks? for the input? 🤦♀️

This game is already hard enough for killer if ur a bot or not playing a good killer

Just bad luck man
Edit: You gotta remember the map is randomized.

Really? Cause when i play most maps are always usually by each other except like hawkins and lerys and occasionally ormond and the one with fathers chapel. Most of the time I just give myself a goal to get the gate half open lol before the killer comes cause there usually isnt much chance of getting away most of the time once they figure out which door your at. And I rarely play with friends. Most of my friends are red rank and the games at that level when I play with them are atrocious lol. so toxic. But the match I was referring to yes I was playing solo.

Gates are meant to be a reward for a team that does well. Unfortunately this game has the stupid hatch which generated hatch standoffs so they fixed that with the egc. The only reason to be upset about gates spawning close is when you're the only one left, which means the gates are only powered because the hatch was closed, which means your team totally lost and you do not deserve an escape, but if you're lucky you just might anyway. Try playing killer sometime and youll understand.

Exit gates are fine, everything in this game doesnt have to be survivor sided. If you cant open them go farm points till death comes.

I do play killer. Lets keep the assumptions to ourselves. they make you look like an ass. And if the gates are right around the corner from one another its not easy for me to get the survivor. Also if its a reward then why power them at all if their most likely not even going to be open considering theyre right by each other. Use your head. Thanks.

"everything doesnt have to be survivor sided". God. You sound like a 8 year old girl. no one said it had to be survivor sided. i didnt ask for anything to be taken away or given. i just said why are they so close. killers walk faster than we run 90% of the time and you get a notification for the doors lmao but thats surivor sided.

The only time it's unfair when both gates are on the same side is when your the last one left and the hatch was closed. At that point it's damn near impossible to open the gates. Some killers like billy and spirit, it might as well be impossible. But if the killer killed 3 people, you didn't finish the gens and he closed the hatch before you found it, they probably deserve it.

Yeah, you rolled some bad gates, nothing more.
RNG is RNG.

Okay youre the second to say that. Ok wait. Do u mean the map choice or the map itself? Cause if it randomized cool. I thought the doors were just liked placed close like that on certain maps like purposely.

Have you seen Starbucks? I don't think they erect those without two more on the same street.

Lmao true. We have a starbucks here in our target then one literally down the street.

Okay. Cool. I notice on bigger maps theyre always like on one side like lerys and hawkins so i just assumed they were like placed in the same areas.

Yea thats what i mean. Like we were just on coldwind farm and there was one and literally i could stand in front of one door and see the other. i can do that a lot actually but people are saying the doors are random so if thats the case then cool. at least some times they wont be by each other. for me most of the time they are though.

There was one rare occasion where I did manage an escape. It was on The Game. Both gates were opposite of each other but in the middle you could roughly patrol each door with little walking. I was hiding at one door but I did not begin to open it yet. I saw the killer patrol and when he saw no red lights he left. As he did that I started to open it, then after 1 light I left. Sneaked to the other door and managed to open that one. The killer thought I was still around the first door and by the time they realized what I did I was gone. It's one more reason why I always run whispers when I play killer :P
Those few times are rare but on coldwind you might as well try to find a chest with a key or give up.

You're hyper aggressive and it makes you look like an ass

Any other irrelevant thoughts you want to lay upon us? No one cares but feel free lol. Like I said keep stupid assumptions to yourself and stick to topic. If you dont have the intelligence to do that kindly go elsewhere. Appreciate it.

I understand your point about the gates and the hard time getting to the survivor but insulting people isn't really going to help.

Exit gates are fine unless you against a high mobility killer such as nurse, spirit or heaven forbid a billy

Am i one of the only survivor players that realizes that I am not suppose to be escaping more than dying? i mean i play F13 and DBD and i go into these games knowing that i am playing a normal human being going up against a supernatural creature that is hell bent on killing me and especially in DBD where i can't really defend myself i expect that more times than not the killer should be more over powered than the team he/she is trying to kill. Games like this should never be EASY to escape the killer, so if the gates are close that just makes it ever more intense on trying to escape the killer imo anyways, i mean if gates were on separate sides of the map then just means an easy escape if you pick the right gate. Where is the fun in just constantly wiping the floor with the killer and escaping all the time? I want to really have to work for my escape otherwise I can just play mario bros or something smh.
