Struggle against the new killer. I have hook struggle mapped to scroll mouse button down but....
the game prompts me to A and D struggle against the new killer when chain hooked.
I cant do the A and D bit since my wrists are messed up. It really hurts.
Am i struggling wrong here?
Am i supposed to scroll mouse button down and then press either a to change direction?
I am not getting this yet after three games.

the chain degrades over time, moving yourself between obstacles will reduce the effort you need to put in to get unchained. Perhaps try that instead of attempting to struggle because most of the time he has enough time to land a hit if you are simply struggling.

If that is truth, you should take a break.
Your own health is more important as anything. Don't play a game while you are injured or something like that.

I know mouse and keyboard is superior but could using a controller help you? Maybe only use it for surviving.

The alternative is to roll over and die. I want to have fun with the remaining years i have left. I am old. Pain happens. You wont be young forever.
Or is the A and D to change directions to snap the chain? As in A to go left to get to obstacle to attempt chain break while scrolling mouse down?

Sorry to hear this. Thought we would speak here just about a injury.
Sadly I can't give a usefull answer to that, but I dislike anyways many keyactions survivors have to do in dbd. There I find the "famous" qucktime events from games like "Detroit become Human" better.

Oh no, not this too. No more struggle mechanic. It is tedious as all heck. D:

Well, maybe not 70, but "in a higher age" ;) and yes you are right.
