I've usually been fine with the devs, like sure there is a lot they need to do but after getting disconnected for the third goddamn time from this, I think i finally get it. Dedicated servers just got added to Xbox, and I completely get why everyone hates them. Please can anyone tell me how the people that are working at BHVR are getting paid to basically do nothing. Actually no sorry, they bring useless "reworks" and bull**** into their game. Also if you're going to have a DC penalty, for the love of God make sure people aren't doing it because your servers are forcing them to

    Yeah dedicated servers haven't been very good. Actually they have been much worse than when the killer hosted. But people complained endlessly about killer hosted matches. I'm pretty sure that when any latency happened on killer hosted matches survivors claimed that the killer was lag switching.


    I don't often side with the studio but they are between a rock and a hard place on the server versus host issue. I hosted matches at 300 ping sometimes when my home internet was running 90 Mbps down and 10 up. My ping clocked in somewhere around 50 if i remember correctly (I might not) so I was very confused why I had Yukon territory ping.
