idk why, but i just randomly thought of this so like.
what if instead of having a double bp effect linked to perks (wglf & bbq), it just became a baseline mechanic for both sides?
so, basically just both of the perks bp effects are removed from the perk and just moved to being base kit for killers and survivors (of course, wglf would need to be reworked though)
what do yall think?

do you mean increasing the base amounts of bp gains ?
like instead of 1250 for doing a gen, we get 2500? without using a perk for it?

Making a perk baseline means the perk would need too be completely overhauled. What would become of WGLF and BBQ if they become baseline?
Personally, bloodpoint gain isn't the issue, I find it's the amount of stuff you need too buy is the problem. Also a higher bloodcap would be super dope as well.

I think that having perks that you feel like you have to run or suffer from a 50% progression penalty is awful. I want to be able to experiment with builds, but I can't since I 1: need to get bloodpoints to get perks on different killers and 2: always have something to spend bloodpoints on. I have no incentive to not get double bloodpoints every game aside from making the game more fun for me, but if I'm at the point where I'd sacrifice a dramatic portion of my progression just to try and have more fun with the game, I've probably already quit.

basically, but the requirements would be the same for both of them (for example, you still need to hook each survivor 4 times to get the 100% bonus.)

yeah, thats true. i think bbq with aura reading only is a pretty decent perk, but wglf would just need to be reworked.
the biggest reason id like this change is so im not forced to run bbq every game JUST to get double bps for the match, i wanna experiment with other aura reading perks (or just other builds) without feeling like im wasting 15 mins of my time bc im not running bbq.
this would also just help give incentives to newer players to seek out each unique survivor to get the double bps, and not camp/tunnel

BBQ is pretty overrated IMO, a better aura perk would be Bitter Murmer, Hex: Retribution when its out, or I'm all ears. They do BBQ's job much better, and if you need bloodpoints I'd use offerings, Won't get 100% in everything, but if you have a killer who's power dependant like Huntress or Wraith then using a few devious offerings will build up bloodpoints fast.

People use it for the BPs. Even with other BP offerings it's still a lot better to have BBQ as well.

Well yeah, but being in the mindset of "all builds must have X perk" is bad. BBQ is good for bloodpoints, but limiting yourself too 3 perks will limit what you can do.

Or the devs can look at (yes increasing the BP cap) the cost of bloodwebs, they did step in the right direction with allowing up to 4 perks to show up... but let's push it another step (for the players who don't sit on hundreds of thousands of BP) and look to decrease the cost of whatever shows up
Also I'd like to see overall stats on BP offerings... maybe I'll make it a topic (lol)

Well until we get more BP perks, are options are use 3 perks or get half bloodpoints.
