Why can survivors pip if they lose but killers cant even at a draw?

So survivors can pip even if they get sacrificed, even if they all get sacrificed each person can individually pip. So they've pipped despite losing right? So then, why can killers not pip even at a 2k (which BHVR says is a draw)?

    Because the game is survivor sided.

    You answered your own question. I can see why you should pip as a survivor when you die if you carried your weight or did your part before you got knocked out but even then it takes minimal effort. Common sense goes that if you died as a survivor you failed at your job. But it's all about doing gens and maybe a save or two. Meanwhile you can 4K and only break even...
