What about killers based of of folklore/mythology. The surviver could be based of the protagonist in the legends any thoughts?

We have a few of those.
Oni (obvious)
Spirit (again, not too hard to figure out)
Hag (Wendigo)
and maybe Wraith. His weapon is kinda like a scythe so grim reaper?
I wouldn't be opposed to more supernatural/mythological killers like these though.

I’d love a nautical chapter with a Mermaid/Siren killer, with the survivor being from the Navy perhaps?
