I just want to hear peoples opinions on what some Good killer perks are. It doesnt get alot of talk but I think infectious fright may be good enough on killers to be more meta with more people(including myself) slugging

Otz did pretty solid explanation on all killer perks and rated them. Probably only thing I disagree with him is Spirit Fury.

It always depends a lot about the killer you play, but here are in my opinion the best ones in general:

    • Pop
    • Corrupt Intervention
    • Thrilling Tremors
    • Safe the best for last
    • BBQ
    • Play with your food
    • Monitor and Abuse
    • Bamboozle
    • Discordance
    • A Nurses calling
    • Infectious Fright

Play with your food is very good on certain killers (Leatherface's chainsaw at 3 stacks of pwyf can be very deadly). It's not a standard perk that you can put on every killer and expect to do well with, so I wouldn't say its a good perk for every killer. Although I think some of the best killer perks that haven't been said yet are:

    Franklin's Demise (Leatherface, level 40)

I'm All Ears (Ghostface, level 30)

    Nemesis (Oni, level 40)

    Blood Warden (Nightmare, level 40)

    Surge (Demogorgon, level 30)

Infectious I would only recommend on insta down killers that can snowball very quickly. Infectious is amazing on the Hillbilly, the Oni, and The Shape at tier III Evil Within.

BBQ is great on every killer for bloodpoints and starting another chase fast, but killers like the Hillbilly, and the Nurse are very good users of it's aura reading parts. It's very easy to chainsaw someone who is on a generator from across the map with it if they are unaware.

Dying Light is not as good as people say. Firstly, the obsession is not affected by it. It also takes a long time to set up and with how fast generators can go, you have to be a Killer that can get quick downs like Spirit, Hillbilly, or Nurse to get it to work in time. It's not worth the slot.

Thanatophobia is also not that good. It punishes you for sacrificing survivors as you no longer gain the penalty to speed if a Survivor is dead. It relies on you keeping the Survivors alive to get the maximum value out of it and it's only good on killers like Legion that can quickly damage every survivor.

Discordance is an extremely good counter to perks like Prove Thyself (and also maybe a counter to Better Together), but if you can, keep it at tier 1 on your killers. 8 seconds is better then 12 because it gives you more accurate and more frequent information as to where the Survivors are. Discordance 3 has a higher chance of giving you false information if the Survivors have left the generator.

I'm All Ears is good for mindgames in chases if used right, Nemesis is extremely good combined with Play With Your Food, Franklin's is great for survivors that bring a lot of items or toolboxes, Blood Warden combined with NOED is great for a late game 4K, Surge is good on maps like Hawkins, and good for insta down Killers like Ghost Face. Combined with Surveillance it can be a very good combo.

Ah that makes sense. I use it every once and a whole on plauge in a meme build. I'm a plauge main and infectious is just soooo good on her. Either they are 1 shot or if not they most likely cleansed and u can snowball like crazy

Everything else u said I agree with, perks usefulness really depends on the killer

Depends on the type of killer you want to play. Nurse's Calling is a great perk, but kinda bad on Doctor. WAY better on the stealthy killers.

BBq & Chili is a great universal perk. More bloodpoints and aura readings.

Pop Goes the Weasel is pretty good too, if you can get back to a generator.

Surveillance to me is such an underrated perk, since it can give you a lot of information.

Hex: Ruin can still be devistating if used correctly and despite what a majority of people on the forums will tell you.

Dying Light is also one of those underrated perks to me, as it can really slow a team.

Because it is one of those perks that gives me the most pain as a survivor, since you dont expect it. A good looper knows his timings, knows about bloodlust and distance, this perk can catch you offguard. The combinition with nemesis is really strong, i wonder why so many people wont use it.

Stacking gen slowdown is the most effective. Corrupt, Pop, Surge, Thrilling, Sloppy, etc. Chase perks used to be the best, but gen slowdown is a force multiplier you cant ignore.

BBQ, Pop and Corrupt would be my meta loadout

Its builds like these the devs said they plan on nerfing soon sadly. I forgot if they said this but I hope they at least make the perks decent on their own. Ex:thanatophobia

Hopefully they only prevent stacking them, like new ruin/pop.

Devs should finally adress the root of problems, of why killers feel the need to use full slowdown perks. We shouldn't have one meta loadout to rule them all or get genrushed. Its so extreme with and without them and another bandaid situation.

Bbq, whispers, pop and corrupt intervention.

I run this on almost ever killer by default. I've been playing around with other perks, but whichever perk I remove I always find there's a moment in the game where the missing perk would help me and its not always fun to put myself at that kind of advantage.

Corrupt narrows the field of the early game- it's almost 100% garunteed that you'll start a chase before the perk is up (whispers helps narrow down where survivors are even better).

Bbq tells you where to head right after hooking someone. Just knowing that you're heading in the direction of a survivor is much better and helps avoid the urge to proxy camp.

Pop is currently the only (reliable) perk that helps with gen regression. As long as you're getting downs and hooks, Bbq will show you which gens are worth checking for a hit.

Whispers is just always useful. Basically if it's ever off you're in the wrong place. Good early game for finding your first survivor, amazing at end game for securing the final kill (I personally think a variation of whispers should be base kit- not as strong as the perk version but something that can help out slow killers on big maps not waste their time as much).

BBQ, PGTW and Nurses Calling are the best killer perks imo.
