Are the devs running out of ideas?

There has not been a decent perk that has shifted the killer meta since Corrupt Intervention (maybe) , there hasn’t been a decent survivor perk to shift survivor meta since the Halloween DLC (when we got DS). Why don’t they take community ideas and suggestions? Most perks released as a part of the DLCs are painfully bad and useless, as well as none of them have decent synergy with other perks.
