What happened to matchmaking

I've done three matches today and gone against purple and red ranks I find a match in seconds I'm literally rank 16 why am I going against high rank what happened to the matchmaking

    no one plays this game anymore, and most high rank killers would rather just play survivor then have to sweat. I feel sorry for you low rank killers, but this is what happen when you destroy you game. When myself and my swf go against you guys we try to apologize as much as possible after the game, hopefully you guys don't get too sad, it's not really fun for us either at this point. :/

    I know I ranked killer to rank 4 then just stopped playing. Did some dailies yesterday. Also I spend a lot of time on the PTB.

    Then if my friends are not on to play survivor with me, after a few bad survivor matches. I just play a different game.

    Quick recap. What happened was:

    1) Ruin was nerfed

    2) Games became easier for survivor.

    3) Survivors ranked up so now there are a lot in the purple and red ranks.

    4) Killers were getting trounced and struggling to pip.

    5) People stopped playing killer.

    6) Survivors now get ranked with any killer who bothers to turn up. Matchmaking isn't really something that happens anymore.

    7) The cycle starts again at point 2.

    BHVR call it "match making" but unless people have fun playing killer the survivor wait times or "match making" will put you against anyone.

    BHVR solution "Batch match making", for killers to wait so more suitable survivors can be found... I mean you can't make this up, the reason some people play killer is the insta lobby you get as a killer... because killer isn't fun... I'm just crying now lol

    I don't think it's hard to win (4k) or pip as killer, even post ruin nerfs, I just had to change my playstyle a bit and juggle more. I find it funny though when you play against some of these swfs who have clearly been bullying low rank killers all day, because their movement is so bad and they forget out to mindgame.

    But, I can totally see how low rank killers are constantly at a disadvantage now because they get overwhelmed.
