A positive map thread: What's your favorite map in terms of atmosphere and design?
This thread is slightly based off of CLAUDETTEINABUSH's post about bad maps that you dislike as a killer and survivor. So, i decided to make a map discussion of my own.
So, here's a question; What's your favorite map, not in terms of balance, but atmosphere?
Judge me all you want, but my favorite map in terms of design has to be Haddonfield. The looks of the abandoned street is really cool, especially the cars everywhere giving the map a lonely, haunted feel to it.
Another atmospheric map that i like is the Hawkins National Laboratory. The size and height of the building makes it feel like a giant maze, complete with one-way routes (Such as holes in the upper floors) which gives it an amazing vibe.
So, what's your favorite map in terms of it's design, it's atmosphere, and how it makes you feel?

I think they nailed the atmosphere in the new rework of the treatment theater, it looks great and shows they really stepped up their game.

Since I am a HUGE Halloween fan I am saying Haddonfield. They got that suburban sleepy town feel just right, and the exterior of Michael Myers' house is perfect.

First of all you could quote me by saying @CLAUDETTEINABUSH in order to inform me about this forum :3
I was actually thinking of making a forum about your topic, so instead of making it I'll answer your question<3
I love all the indoor maps. Hawking's is just amazing and lerys represents what was happening there perfectly. The references on the jigsaw map? AMAZING.
Lastly the new map. Imma count down how many bodies there are and I'll let you know :3

Old Lerys, new Lerys, Meat Factory, Lab,
Indoor maps create great tension as you cannot see everything so easily!
We need more indoors

The new Lery’s, Haddonfield, The Game, and Hawkins. I have no clue where most Killers are coming from on indoor maps, meaning I could easily run into them and Haddonfield looks like it could’ve been ripped out of one of the Halloween films.
